I have a feeling it will die down.. Authenticity always prevails in the end. Brands like Kith, Fear of God, Preme and Bape will still be a major part in the market. People appreciate exclusivity.
The quality in off-white has never been great imo. I've always like HP's material and cut better. Plus, it's less hyped than OW. That's probably the main reason I rock it way more...even his caps/hats are better.
@@BillyIs-AnoNymous Not only that, the designs are better most of the time, because it feels like Virgil tries to act like a high end designer, but doesn't quite come off that way imo (then again to achieve something you gotta practice and learn it, so maybe he'll be better at it in the future). I kinda wish Virgil would try to stay in the high streetwear game, because if he evolved on that field, we might've had something else than logo prints on his stuff that you can buy at the "cheap" price range. That way, he would've also proved himself to everyone that he is more than some Kanye affiliate who got lucky, kinda like Matthew Williams with 1017 Alyx 9sm. What I like about HP is that the dude just stays true to himself and does whatever he feels like. In the end, he just wants to push the idea of sustainable clothes, which production emits less CO2, while also proving it can be high end and look cool, and I respect him for that. Sure he limits himself to using certain materials and options when it comes to designing, but it feels like he improves with each collection, so he always comes out with something spicy, that caters to everyone from street enthusiasts to a somewhat margin of the high end community.
Fast fashion luxury doesn't sound right lol! It's taking away the Exclusivity of Designer brands and more production creates more waste. Leading away from sustainable fashions. I'll keep an eye on this fast fashion luxury!
People wit a lot money see a way to make a quick cash grab, with no regard for the culture??? Shocker. What did everyone think would happen? Nothing new here. Big companies absorb smaller ones all the time. Look what happened to BAPE after Nigo sold it to that Chinese conglomerate. They almost completely stopped coming up with new ideas (unless it was a collab with a newer brand) and the quality went to shit. The quality in OFF-WHITE isnt quite as good as Heron Preston IMO....but, I'm sure the quality will gi down in all 3 brands. I dont own any palm angels, so IDK bout their quality. I'm sure it WON'T get better than it is now...I'll stick with Undercover, NBHD, and Wacko Maria from now on.
the quality of heron preston tshirts went up IMO. in the ss21 collection its a more thick material. also they now all have certilogo idk if it has something to do with this but its a step forward IMO
I personally think that this is a bad idea ( in a sense). I feel as though it's going to be extremely hard to keep up with the trends. I hope they have a strong talent pool to pull from. I also feel as though it could be very costly as well. Thought ( should we call this disposal fashion?) Overall , long term bad , short term if done right can be lucrative. Another slap in the face of the craft.
If you think about it’s a win win for the company and the people they are pushing product and keep more stock coming and more people keep buying for the low at times
@MagnificentNibba Basically just due to a lack of creativity. Slapping diagonal stripes or crossing arrows on different garments is just lazy design. Not to mention the numerous knock-offs he has been caught for. Also, and this was mentioned in the video as well, these high end streetwear brands are too similar to each other. If they would interchange pieces and put their own logo on it no one would probably notice. The branding is the only distinguishing factor. These brands deliver a mediocre product with an obnoxious price tag and somehow people are just gobbling it up for God knows why. They are the prime example that money doesn't buy you good taste.
@@willt963 well, he is actually right. Off White is famous cause everynoe talks about it, cause Virgil knows people like Kanye. Popularity doesn´t mean quality and Virgil is a terrible designer (eventhough he is a marketing genious) who even steal ideas from small designers
Off white is just lines printed on tees and hoodies, Preston is just off-white without the lines and palm angels is just another generic streetwear brand. These brands will bring in more money for Farfetch and will certainly change how most kids dress, but I doubt this will affect high-fashion brands; the kind of customer brands like Haider Ackermann, Number (N)ine, CCP, Raf Simons etc. attract are very different from the kind of customers Off-White, Heron Preston, and Palm Angels attract. (i.e. people who actually view fashion as art)
Farfetch is just seeking digital authority in the fashion space and the good thing about it "currently" is that they letting these brands they are acquiring to remain independent at operation.
Genuine hate this direction that fashion is goin. Fast fashion is one of the most harmful industries to the environment and also having the fashion world move so fast just means it's not gonna be about the art anymore. Jus like the Fashion Nova's and Forever 21's they are turning the art of fashion into a disposable thing. Fuck I fucking hate that lol
Farfetch is now the streetwear LVHM, its good for the company and will be good for the business of streetwear. HOWEVER, pushing out "high end items" in 3 weeks sound sus lol
I think this is a great thing. Luxury fast fashion. 100 dollar tees and stuff. That might mean that more normal people will buy luxury items and then fewer because they are expensive, and then save the planet because supply goes down. #Bernie2020biiitches
it's not too surprising but now honestly theres gonna been even less individuality and personality in a persons wardrobe unless people actually wake up from this stupid bandwagon fever dream and start wearing stuff because they personally like it and not because someone else likes/wears it. it's not healthy to be so disingenuous about yourself, right? right?????
Most of the pieces from most of these hypebeast brands are trash anyway! Got people out here looking like fools! Got men out here looking like boys... in my opinion.. But this just a quick cash grab while the iron is hot can’t knock that! People out here really thinking walking around with a big ass x on your back and shoes is lit? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fast-luxury-fashion? Have a feeling it's not gonna be good in the long run.
Fizzy Distrix was never a good thing
Fizzy Distrix at this rate, in 20 years it wouldn’t be inconceivable to think that we’ll all be walking around in Farfetch silver jumpsuits. 😂

Always the high quality videos, even this short one! Kudos
I don't care. Fashion is you. Not what fast fashion want you to be. Curators always look better than fast fashion followers. So let the sheep run.
My partner and I are going back to Japan in November, for our third time! Really hope we get to bump into you around Tokyo!!! We love your vids!
Farfetch the Bird type pokemon.

Just saw that their stock is at an all time low, they’re facing legal trouble but I think is a good buy. Thanks Reggie!

I support u since the beginning bro u deserve a lot more of views and sponsors the editing is amazing.
Farfetch basically scooping up the worst brands in fashion today. The only one they need now is Amiri.

Where's the Dapper Dan video at??
Well off white been a fast fashion due to the fact Virgil had a lot of pieces coppied and the brand is just ironic at this time ...
best channel yaww
Thank you for the support!!
I see this as the brands like Off White going to be like close to Bape in coming years, unless they follow the route of LV.
Farfetch is just seeking digital authority in the fashion space and the good thing about it "currently" is that they letting these brands they are acquiring to remain independent at operation.
Isn’t Farfetch created by Lvmh though?
Hope this doesn't f' up everything
"brands with the most clout behind them not just best designs" sounds like a bad idea
Will new guards group survive under Farfetch?
OW and Heron Preston look the same all the time lol
And how about us, Young designer? How we gonna keep up with this??!? 😭.

We all saw what happened to bape and supreme when they were sold, they fell off
Supreme didn't sell? They only sold half, plus supreme hasn't fallen off @ all, its still ugly asf and overpriced
Rosez overpriced? No unless you buy on after markets and ugly? Not really if you are in love with inner city skate 90s era
@@sharingiscaring53 swarovski bogo, all their bogos are overpriced as fuck. idk how ppl think a fucking embroidered logo on the chest looks good

So Virgil is the founder but doesn’t own off-white?
Dre 1k exactly
He owns the trademark & licenses it to big corporations
R.I.P OFF WHITE
Lvmh will continue win if the goal is fast fashion and not wealth preservation for fashion houses throughout times.
So resale value will drop. True "hype" is bound to be found only on one off pieces.

the big companies bought all the designers so this won’t succeed.
