Fast times at Ridgemont High. HE WISHES. Lol Bit yeah jk it was at a preschool.
I saw him live in Alabama last week, whole show was full of technical issues and weird stuff. He changed jackets 6 times, kept restarting songs like in this video, his microphone batteries died, he mentioned his wife and him splitting, told us he cancelled his south Carolina show and seemed like there was some issue there, told us his famous jacket got stolen in New Jersey at a show and put a $1,000 bounty up for it. It was awesome😂, the whole band got solos and were all stereotypes of what you would see in a band like his. His latest piano player i assume is an angel did a Cindy lauper solo, and his guitar player did his own song but the levels were all fucked up and everyone lost interest quickly. He kept shouting out his bass player and it was sad cause he was like anyone recognize him and no one did, turned out he was his enemy in meatballs 4. He looks nothing like he did back then I'm not sure how Corey expected anyone to know that guy. He jumped around a lot the whole show and kept it entertaining tho
Just discovering Feldman's band today. Initially I thought "Wow this a genius level of irony and like meta self awareness in film. He even got Snoop in on a song." But now I can see this is just mental illness and Corey Is like disassociated with reality. A former 80's star that claims to have been a Jackson victim then trying to sing and act like Jackson half his songs is like the cliche twist at the end of slasher films. Beyond me how Snoop agreed to collab, he def had no idea what the real scenario was until after. Corey needs a conservatorship like Spears.

A lot of bands create drama from the stage demanding lights be turned down, etc. Blame incompetent crew hired by the bar. This is why so many have to hire their own sound and light people to travel with them, to avoid this stuff.
I've had this many times in my personal experience, including once having a sound guy at a venue in Massachusetts refusing to turn the house music off when the band started. They're not sending their best.

The professional thing to do would have been to do the song and then request the lights be turned down after the song was finished.

He wants someone to man the lights and adjust them during his set in the middle of songs even. No dude. You hire a lighting crew if you want that. And then he's pissed when he doesn't get that. And it happens at every show, which means comedy gold for us. 😂😂

Something goes wrong in virtually every single Corey Feldman show that I've seen. And it's major stuff, not like a broken string or a guitar pick slipping out of your fingers during a solo, etc. Someone is not plugged in; someone goes on too long with an intro; cues are off; lighting; etc...you know, ALL the stuff you do soundchecks for.
But when you're as badass as the Comeback King here, why rehearse or do a soundcheck? Everything will be just fine. Right?
When he came to Tempe last year. They were missing an HDMI cable, they needed one that was 50 to 100 foot long from the keyboard back to a sound board. You can't buy stuff this long from Best Buy. Luckily I had 6 of these cables at my house and gave him one or the show might have been cancelled. ya, every show is a clusterfuck. Poor guy, he's trying man.
