No actually he didn’t. He was still in the turning lane when the light turned green. The cammer did nothing wrong. The white car turned on red and almost caused an accident. You clearly can’t pay attention.

this is irrelevant - the SUV would still have to yield to oncoming traffic unless they had a green light (which they didn't).
@@instacat1112 There were 2 choices here: 1) exercise your right and deal with the headaches/lost time/cost/medical issues of being in an accident or, 2) drive defensively, avoid the accident and lose a minute or 2 waiting (there are far too many idiots on the road and, in the US, quite a few do not have insurance at all or inadequate insurance. Be right or be safe!
That was a BAD cyclist that was hit. In areas where it's even legal to ride your bike on the sidewalk, you are supposed to dismount the bike at intersections and cross with the pedestrian traffic at their signal. Plus, they were riding the wrong way as well, so they were at fault 100%.
I totally agree. I had some dork on a motorized bicycle riding my rear end the other day and in my town every block has a stop sign...this dude ran every one of them. Then I make it down to a red light with another person in front of me to get onto a major highway in my area and dude passes both of us, waits for the light to change for 3 seconds, and then cuts us both off in the turn to do 15 MPH down the street of a major highway. I blew my horn at him because it made me irritated that this portly man (yes, not a child) doesn't realize that the traffic laws apply to him as well. I am a commercial truck driver and I have worked long and hard to keep my license, so seeing someone who most likely doesn't have a license or insurance blowing stop signs and circumventing traffic laws for his own gain makes me angry. I didn't swerve at him or stop to cuss him out because I'm not one of those people, but I hate to see people who act like they're above the law.
@@Brock_Landers These people know traffic laws apply to them, they just don't care because the know that car drivers will do what they can to not hit them no matter what they do.

You're wrong. According to California traffic law, you may turn into ANY available lane when turning left. For right turns, it is required to turn into the nearest lane, but not for left turns. I'm very well versed on the California Vehicle Code. In some states, left turns are restricted to turning into the nearest lane, but not in CA. Each state has some variations in traffic law.
@@BadDriversOfNapa Based on the video it appears the Jeep (turning right) may have stopped in which case the right lane would not be "available". Regardless, seeing the Jeep turning could lead to an issue so the safe thing to do would be to turn into the left lane (defensive driving).

He had every right to turn left into the far right lane. It is a myth that you must turn into the nearest lane when turning left in every state. In some states, yes, but not in California.
