Modified Tilt Table Test with Dual-Tasking Shows Improvement In Cerebral Blood Flow

Let's talk about a specialized tilt test used to assess autonomic function and orthostatic intolerance. The test involves measuring cerebral blood flow in the left and right middle cerebral arteries using Doppler ultrasound while tilting the patient to a 70-degree angle. A unique aspect we use at the Keiser clinic is the introduction of a cognitive task during the 8th minute to assess dual-tasking effects on cerebral blood flow.
