What a beautiful bird , just curious though as to why was the Bell 206 LT TWIN RANGER helicopter produced in limited quantities? (Apparently around 13 helicopters produced in this iteration)
That's a good question, I was wondering that as well. It seems like it would be an in-demand machine, with the popularity of the 206 and demand for twins.

Why are the jet ranger & twin ranger so popular?
I thought the number was higher then 13... I haven't been able to find a good source to confirm any numbers
It could be, but the could sites I checked all said there were only 13 built by Bell. There are also some that have been converted to twins later on.
What are those vents on either side of the aircraft up near the main rotor shaft. Are those indeed air vents or vortex generators?
I'm pretty sure they are exhaust vents.
It's allot quieter than the "lama" "gazelle" or the "allouette"
