I’m looking to buy one because your channel has made me start loving e36’s and you’ve inspired me to start learning to drift but here in Australia they r so expensive and hard to find with low kilometres
E36s are cheaper than E30s and stronger than E46s. That's why they are popular. Good bang for your buck. You'll probably have something else in Australia, just buy that one.
I love your vids bro. I hope to get my drift build started real soon in the next couple months. What do you recommend as a build platform that’s not killing in the pocket in money. Like a Miata or something? Let me know!! Keep up the videos bro

Can somebody help me? I am not a car guy but i want to buy an e36.. but after watching this video something came in my mind.. I am able to find just 320i bmw s there. I got the difference between M3 and non M3 s but how to tell if an e36 is m3? Theres a guy telling me his car is 320i M50 b20 .. and I don't understand a shit.. so should i just buy an 320i with normal price or these overpriced 320i M50 b20
So to if you want the differences between the M3 and non-M E36 BMWs here are a few: body styling (front bumper, sideskirts, mirrors, rear bumper), M badges, more power, bigger engines (3.0L or 3.2L engine), they have S50 or S52 (only US) engines About the 320i: E36 320i BMWs came with the M50B20 / M50B20TU or M52B20 / M52B20TU engines. The M50 engines are older (you can look up the production years of these engines on Wikipedia). The M50B20TU is the "technical update" engine, which includes VANOS (a variable valve timing system, somewhat similar to V-TEC) . The M52 engines are the succesors of the M50. The M52B20 engines should usually have VANOS, but from what i understood they don't have it necessarily. Here are some main differences between the M50 and M52: The M52 produces slightly more power and torque and better power delivery across the rpm ranges (But the M52B20 and M50B20 produce roughly the same power of 150hp and torque of 150Nm). The M52 is lighter, since it has an aluminium block (M50 steel). If the engine has VANOS it will have better performance, better mileage and lower emission. From what i have read online, the M50 is supposedly better for tuning and driving it hard since the steel block can take more. Personally, I think the differences between the M50B20 and M52B20 are not that big, especially if you dont care about heavily modding the engine or driving it on it's limit for extendes periods of time. They both seem like good engines. I suggest you find out what engine the cars you are looking at to buy have and if they have VANOS or not. Maybe you know someone who has some knowledge on it or you find out how to differentiate the engines. If you just want the car as a daily driver and dont drive it extremely hard it probably doesn't matter if it's a M50 or M52, I assume the general state of the vehicle matters more then. •PLEASE NOTE• I am not an expert on BMWs and especially the different engines, I don't even own a BMW (atleast not yet). I just like E36s and did a bit of research about the engines you asked since i saw your comment. I highly advise you to do your own research on these cars and ask people you know who may have more experience about advice. You can also look at forum discussions or ask questions there. Don't take what I said as absolute, I may be wrong about some things but I hope i could help you in some way.
