Winona Ryder: Her Life on Film (1971 to 2016)

I have been a fan of Ms Ryder since I first saw her performance as Lydia in Beetlejuice. I started making this 'tribute' in 2012 but its always tricky to decide when to publish and I have come back to it now and again over the past few years. With her rise and fall, and recent rise again, now seems like as good a time as any. I have tried to capture her life on film from movie appearances and tv adverts to music videos and award ceremonies. I have picked most of what's listed on IMDB and tried to show them in some kind of chronological order, although some dates are open to debate depending on when the movie was made or released.
I have set the clips to 'Hope for the Hopeless' by Fine Frenzy. Partly because I think its a great song but also I liked the message against the backdrop of her life and career, plus it ties in nicely with a quote from one of Winona's finest performances and a movie she has alot of personal connections with. Hope you enjoy.
I do not own any of the clips or the soundtrack but the edit is my own work.
