    Great to hear brother. I was on the edge but you just convinced me. They are a little pricier now, $829 at Dicks. But still worth it

      thanks for the comment and ya they are a great boat I love mine and I am still using it well worth the money and a very solid little boat for sure.

      awsome! I hope you like it as much as I like mine. I think you will.
      I will recommend that you get a 55lb thrust trolling motor or higher for it you will be much happier that way.

    Good morning. You have given me some good advice recently and I really appreciate that. But now I have a situation my HOA said that I'm not allowed to have a trolling motor on my boat in The lakes in my development and unfortunately I would need to use oars. Can you please recommend the proper length and style of oars I would need. Do not want to give up this I'm willing to do what I need to so I can go fishing in my lakes
    Hope to hear from you soon thank you so much

    • @BravoBassin
      @BravoBassin  Год назад +1

      So I think I replied to you in another message about this as I have never used oars on this boat so really would not now what to tell you other then you want to make sure there long enough to get down in the water deep enough to get a good stroke out of each move. My suggestion is get a couple broom handles or stick sit in your boat and try and figure out a good length and go from there. Or if there is a kayak or river rafting shop near you they would be a great place to ask. And ya HOA stuff sucks!! I do not see why they would have an issue with a trolling motor??

    Thanks for the review. Can you take this in rivers? Like the Miami river in Ohio?

    • @BravoBassin
      @BravoBassin  Год назад +1

      yes you can and I have taken it in rivers many times works great for a float I will say I do always have a trolling motor on it as well which gives me great control when needs but it does draft very shallow as well so you can get it pretty shallow water with it as well. I have video up on my channel of me using in the river just look up my james river fishing videos and you will see.

    In the original video you had the non padded, non folding seats. Did you buy new ones?

    • @BravoBassin
      @BravoBassin  2 года назад +2

      No it comes with the padded seats but they did not have them with the boat at the time so they ordered them for me when I boat but gave me the first set until the padded ones came in.

    How did it do on the James river?

    • @BravoBassin
      @BravoBassin  Год назад

      it does great on the James river I will say that you will need at least a 55lb thrust trolling motor minimum or more would be better I have several videos on my channel with me fishing out of it on the James river for smallies so you can go check them out.
      but my 40lb thrust trolling motor did ok but was just not enough to push up stream in certain area's when the current got faster just a little FYI I feel a 55lbs thrust would have done fine. not that mine did not get me up river it was just slow going and when you hit some faster current spots I had to get out and pull it through those areas going up stream.
      But if you are just floating down stream it works greqt for that as well. But I would still have a trolling motor as a back up as it is not a fast paddle boat.

      not at all it might get a littel scracth if you drag it over a rock or something but I have been sliding mine on grass loading and unloading and moving it around for years. You will love this boat I promise it is so much fun to fish off of.

      @@BravoBassin Great videos and thanks for the help on my stability question. What do you think of the Pelican Intruder 12? I have a Grizzly Bass boat for the larger lakes and rivers where the water is high enough. But where I live in TN I want to have a boat that is stable that's light enough to push up in my pickup and drop in a river, one that will accommodate my son and myself (average size men) and my 4 year old grandson so that we can fish the river even when it's low. Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

    • @BravoBassin
      @BravoBassin  9 месяцев назад

      @@stanmanmedia So I do not have any experience with the pelican 12 so can;t really comment on that but what I can say is that the field and stream angler 10 that I have is plenty sturdy and very easy to load and un load by yourself and I have several videos of me out on the James river in virginia fishing out of this boat as well as fishing with 2 grown adults on the boat with no issues and with me standing up in the boat with 2 adults in the boat fishing.
      Bass pro shops makes the same boat as well they just call it a different name.
