This is really a great song live. They have it a little up tempo, it seems to work better when they slow it down a little but hit it hard, as they did later on.

The Zoo was always my favorite rock song. Judas Priest and the Scorpions were the best bands that day. I was there and blessed enough to see the Scorpions at Harvey's Lake Tahoe in 2018. 35 years later and they are still tight.

Rudolf? He just plays rhythm. I would have figured Michael Schenker his brother or Matthias Jabs who is the lead guitar player in yellow and black stripes.
@Auom Demos You get no argument from me. He is a great rhythm guitar player. No problem. It is just not very often you hear someone like the idea of becoming only a rhythm guitar player. Usually you hear about wanting to be the lead. I have no problem with being a rhythm guitar player. Just never played in a band with one or met anyone who was only that. BY the way I was at the US festival with Backstage passes for me and my wife and a good friend of ours. And was watching them from the sidelines.
@@Buzzramjet rudy used to play more lead during the 70s and early 80s. take for example the life like a river. it was rudy and roth on guitar lead duo. it sounds fantastic. but i dont know what happened to rudy as time flies. he is getting sloppy and lazier in guitar playing. he is just contented on strumming and little plucking. he is getting less and less talented
Their warmup gig for the US Festival was May 20, 1983 in Dubuque, Iowa, not Duluth Minnesota as some metal books have stated. Quiet Riot was the opening band that night, before the shit had gone to DuBrow's head, and they more than held their own against the Scorps that night.
