  • 1495 attempts. The run essentially consists of 5 sections:
    1. Getting past the pinkies. If they wake up on the same frame and run along each other you can get past them on the left with a decent chance, if not, it's just rng, but sometimes if you are lucky you can run past them on the right side which is slightly faster. Was slightly blocked in this run so not so great.
    2. Getting past the imps. There is a particular movement to increase your chances there, which I failed, but I got lucky to squueze after all. If you get past them cleanly it's of course faster.
    3. The atrocious switch press. You can't see the switch due to the midtex and rocks and then when you run towards it, you are falling down from the stairs and can't control your speed, so it's extremely easy to miss it or overshoot (jump on top of the switch). Timing this switch sucks. Here I missed it slightly but pressed immediately after, so that's acceptable.
    4. Getting past the pinky. You need to lure him out a bit and then try to guess if he goes left or right and squeeze in the opposite direction. In this run though a pretty ridiculous thing happened, pinky ran to the left and I also tried to squeeze from the left as I guessed incorrectly, but I ended up somehow not only getting through but also getting a speed boost and somehow catching the right sr50 angle to smoothly continue. Previous three sections were all slow but this squeeze saved the whole run.
    5. Getting past the chaingunners. This is pure rng, they can just decide to scatter and block the whole section. The thing I do to improve speed and consistency is MF50 the stairs down instead of SR40/50 them as this guarantees you don't bang your head against the ceiling and thus keep speed to run past the chaingunners. After that it's just some SR50s. This part went cleanly in this run.
    Very clean run should get 19 here, but that would be very hard. The problem is not just a single hard section, but the fact that you can lose time (and run) to rng in any of the sections.
