There are a lot of ways of doing so, but one you can do at start is decoy with rosa kill al the dogs, and then casino roullette will one shot the boss since its the last one. Farming the bosses for infamy is actually the way to go to get a snowball running for the next sector.
Thanks man! I have a monthly video up, showcasing the games I think look the greatest for the month, that playlist is easy to find on the channel "Upcoming games each month" :) And I do occasional "best of list videos" With different types of games like underrated SP games :)
The game looks really fun, innovative and ambitious with mixing and matching different types of genres in a single game. The art is beautiful, the environment is great, the gameplay looks fun, but it feels a LITTLE undercooked. Like maybe a couple more patches and tweaks would make it perfect. Right now it's very simple and fun and can be somewhat annoying.
Yeah spot on brother! I wish some more detail into the graphics as well, I like the style, it's very stylish, but look at a rock as an example. I would have loved to see just a snippet more detail to it then just a model and one color if you know what I mean :)
@@ZlimBratSki Yeah, i almost immediately got a flashback to the old Amercan Laser Games arcade machines, only Zlim was the game's host! Also, i reckon using a little acting and a little cosplay could go a long way in video promotion. And we all know you've got the skillz🙃
The game should have included the ability to travel in a semi-open world, with interaction with NPC, the dynamics are sorely lacking. The game has style, but it seems clumsy and somehow slow. Like some kind of borderlands but in the style of the space wild west. P.S. For some reason I remembered the TV series "Firefly". Although in this case the game has nothing in common with the series.I wish I could see a quality game based on the series' universe.
Yeah it is def on the slower side, but I think having the option to go to a hub world and interact with NPC's would have slowed it down even further. Haha yeah I was thinking of Cowboy bebop and Firefly as well! It was just complete random which one out of those two I mentioned in the video 😂
@@ZlimBratSki Borderlands has a hub location with NPCs and quests, this did not slow down the pace of the game, if you do not take into account other aspects of Borderlands. This is just an example of what would be possible to explore the world. But In this game it was possible to do without a hub, long dialogues, just make the possibility of traveling in semi-open locations. To some extent this happens in the game, just on the planet on the map p the movement takes place between unique arenas and this is boring and disrupts the overall pace of the game. Let's continue to dream about the impossible - a large-scale game based on the Firefly universe. 😁
I’ve got a low-spec PC, and I couldn’t believe how well Boosteroid handled the games I tried. No lag or stutter, and the experience felt almost native. It’s a great option if you can’t afford a hardware upgrade.
I was hoping it was going to perform a bit better on Steam tbh. Only "mostly positive" now with just a few reviews. I'll hold back for patches and sales I think, just like you said. Does look fun though
Its really good, it dosent need much patching a part from some minor balancing, but thats really hard to get perfect for everyone. What I think might drag it down the most is the price though. They should consider that :/
Howdy Partner! Played it for a few hours Yesterday and i really really like it! also that the showdowns are not too long and always change! But the Money and sometimes unbalanced part iI am completely with you! Yeeeeehaaw!
Zlim, I love ya man. But please don't ever try to do an accent like that ever again - please :) Wild Bastards eh, it's good but like others have said it's a bit slow honestly. I'm only about an hour in, but it's solid and maybe it'll get a bit better further in.
Hahaha! I'll do the accent in every video here on out!! :D Yeah it is slow, but I don't mind that at all tbh. It does pick up, the dialogues get less and you get a lot faster managing the inventory etc the further in you get. Give it another 3-5 hours and it will have picked up a lot by then :)
I will say the game is a bit unbalanced with certain character stunts and money like you said, preach is S+ tier for sure, heals on bullet hits is basically god mode for this game
I am finding the game to be relatively enjoyable, but it feels like, and someone tell me if im just playing wrong, but spider and judge (so far) are the only playable characters, smoky does no damage, casino is cool and all but his range makes him so risky, HOPPALONG??? Worst character in the game so far??? am i wrong? Does like 0 damage, his attacks actively make him the easiest target known to man, and can only do single target slow damage?? Priests only redeeming quality is the heal utility, but the amount of ammo and the fact the spread is awful and the rate of fire uptick time, it just feels counter intuitive to have such little ammo in in regards to how it feels. Off the top of my head, this game doesn't have a melee button, unless i missed it in the tutorial but that is something that feels like it would automatically make the game feel fairer, like a semi stunning melee attack, so when you flash up a ladder, you dont just get shot in the face if facing the wrong direction. Some things I think that are worth considering updating: -Some form of night vision/ enemy outlining mod/ace, to make night time showdowns not so miserable due to them being able to see you while you cant see them. -Make it where enemies do not have accuracy inside of reed bushes, like one of the hardest things to do is find an enemy in there and kill them, hence melee button would be nice, plus could possibly knock down the reeds at the same time. -Add a mention of tutorial for nitro, I thought it automatically used it for a long time until i realized you had to click on it to consume it. -Add more variety in aces, how come I have 4 versions of deadly on spider??? -Add a bigger award for killing the siblings that show up on timer, like a mod or tonic or beans even. 100 infamy just doesnt feel that worth it, it is nice, but these are big bosses apparently, so reward me. -ALLOW REPLACING MODS WITHOUT SCRAPPING THEM, logically this makes sense since we are talking, bullets, coats, scanners, like these dont seem like permanent things, and would balance the game a little, side note, changing mods while on planet would be nice too. -The only enemy I feel like, so far, is a chore to find is the snakes that burrow, so i feel like they need to adjust the timing on their burrow mechanics, so im not just wandering around and by the time i get to the noise marker, its just a hole in the ground. -A little out there, but hear me out, a dodge roll, thats very simple, no sliding or anything, just helps when you have a pack of kyotes and they shoot at the same time, you can hit your little roll button to assist, put it on a long cool down i dont care, just need more options to avoid damage other than, crouch, and hope they miss. Now for the more experimental ideas that dont need to be implemented at all i think they would just be cool (and forgive me if these things exist and i just haven't seen them yet) -Something that makes spider use both guns at the same time to double damage, and the trade off is no guns available during reload time. -Give smoky a better alternate fire than just increasing range, maybe a more area of effect shot that uses more ammo. -Raise base fire rate for casino. -I think judge is made the most perfect so far, fits the theme, the style, and the pace of the game, rewards tactical spots and good aim. -Hoppalong, throw the character away, just kidding, but not really. Can he get a whip instead of a lasso? Have the hold down function be his current attack, but add a click for a high damage short range, small hit box whip? That sounds cool? OR maybe make him way faster and stronger, so he can like lasso someone and drag them away to a safer spot. -Priest, double her ammo, and I think that makes her fit the game well. Her support characteristics and healing aare dope and worth having her around. -havent gotten to other characters Game in general? -Make cramm a reward on all showdowns. -I don't know if beans and tonics disappearing after warp is the right play, i understand it, but at the same time, i feel like we are getting punished for playing well. -Auto switch to other squad when out of moves on the other. -have us set up squad pairings before we beam down. -I feel like scattered members feel odd, why cant they do anything on their own? Why cant we take the opportunity to do a little risk vs reward for using a solo character all on their own, when typically this make a solo character situation already the case. -CHANGE JUMP LOCKS- You made an obstacle to overcome, but then made overcoming it automatic and immediate, make it a different game mode or something, a different take, something like a mix of a roaming encounter, and setting up explosives on the jump lock. And have ALL squad mates there (if none are scattered) -Add a reset sector button, cause I know when im left with the trash characters i rather just start over. -Make gun hand ally better, how come hes not as accurate as the other gun hands? Not cool. -Make security give a reward for taking them out, like infamy or maybe a new mechanic of mod parts, where you have enough you can make a mod, and the more you have the better the quality?? Security is a huge ass threat that is looming and sucks that taking them out doesnt do anything, SIDE NOTE, the station that disables security, that needs to be buffed duration because its placement is always has me lose it before the next showdown everytime. Things I think are weird, not necessarily bad, but indeed a game design decision -The way ladders and ziplines work. If an enemy is at the top and you dont know which direction to face when climbing the ladder, they have a clear advantage, especially if you cant kill in one hit. -fall damage, lame -The store, only good thing is tonic and beans? -2D light furniture and doors and items like bottles and such? -Environmental damage hurting enemies- Nice Overall -Thanks for reading this long ass thing, as i just vent about this game. -All in all, I think its a good game, that with just a few minor tweaks it would become an amazing game. -Lots of characters and so far they really do play extremely different than each other. -Enemy variety I think so far is progressing well and balanced. -Aces and mods do change the game drastically sometimes, and other times not so much, but it feels so dope to get a combo that makes you very powerful --for example, (might describe it wrong) for judge, had an ace that quick reloads on crit, had a mod that made you invulnerable for a time on crit kill, had a mod that made bullets 100% crit, so awesome to just steam roll a showdown with this combo, but SUPER sad, but necessary! that it was gone after the warp. That moment made me see the potential power we could have if similar things could be set up with combinations on other characters. -Is the game worth the price? I dont think so, but only marginally, because there is a lot of replayability and game time in this game especially if you are going for the hardest mode. If you are ok with spending the money, I would, I did and I dont regret it. -Is the game good? Yeah good enough at the moment, but I hope some of my ideas are realized. But who knows maybe im just playing the other characters wrong, because this is not a typical fps run and gun, and spider and judge are the base archetypes of that kind of game, so maybe thats why i like them so much. -Is it a shooter? what type of game is this?: Well, it is indeed an fps, but it almost feels like tank controls on a computer, no sprinting and firing, the spray is IMPACTFUL, its like a slower superhot in a way. You are making tactful decisions, but in real time without pinpoint accuracy and one hit kills. Its a very loose comparison, but i think its helpful to think of. So dont go in thinking its a run and gun shooter, more of a cover, aim training, roguelike action rpg. -If you like the art style, like passionate voice acting, and the idea of a strategic HARD fps peaks your interest then i think its worth giving a shot. I PROMISE you will know if you like this game within 2 hours for steam refunds. Alright, thanks for reading. I have no friends that play this game lol so i needed someone to tell.
Most of them are very good points, some I think are deliberate design choices to make the game more challenging and tactical in a sense but most of it I agree on. What I disagree on the most however is HOPALONG being worthless, I mixed and matched my characters quite a lot, Shotgun - sniper team Hopalong - revolvers team Gatlin - fireball team and so on. Worked great when you have the right partner. But back to hopalong, if you play him right, sneak up on your enemies he is probbably one of the most OP characters in the game, and if you don't like sneaking put on the rocket boots mod, he will literally FLY around the arena picking enemies off one by one faster then any other character. So I wouldn't say hes useless :)
Void Bastards was cool but really not sure on this at all. I think the art style really suited Void Bastards and I do like the style but given how Hardcore and difficult this game could be i think the Art style doesn’t fit.
