Hi, Tom, please can you tell me if the Stonfo ‘connector & clamp’ that is supplied with the ‘bait station jolly’, will also allow you to fix the ‘Stonfo bait station’ onto a traditional beach tripod to avoid using the ‘Preston pro tripod’ or is the bait station to large? Cheers

No, it will fit on a traditional beach tripod. However, I find the standard bait station and a stand alone tripod to be better for a couple of reasons. Firstly it's a large table than the Jolly, and secondly I like to set up a few feet away from my rods, this makes my working area more comfortable and less prone to tripping over things (yes, I'm clumsy!) and also saves the neck strain of constantly looking up when directly underneath your rods. This is just my preference though.

Any chance of a video on the Stonfo bait tray? They look the business 👍

They are my favourite bit of kit without doubt! Makes fishing so much easier, tidier and more efficient, not to mention keeping bait away from rogue hungry dogs.

I was wondering, when baiting up with frozen black is it better to have s rubber stop & sequin to keep the bait from shooting up the line, or is secure enough without using them? Also what is a good length to use on a rig body & snood? Great videos btw learning so much!:)

Hi Matthew, if you are using a clipped down rig then I would always recommend using bait stops to prevent the bait flying up the line. If you are using flappers then bait stops are not needed, but can still add some attraction with things like Bonebass mini gums.
Length of body and snood can vary hugely depending on where you are fishing and for what. But a good average rig that I use a lot will be a 2 up 1 down flapper with 2 foot snoods, so rig body of just over 4 foot.
