Hey you! I’m up and. . . Hmm. I was gonna say up and doing but just being up is good for now. Did I ever tell you I’m 75? So it’s fun to watch your reactions to songs from my teens that you appreciate too. Having my weekly vodka and green tea again so per usual I’m not responsible for anything I don’t remember. Just wanted to say hi. Hi.😊
@@garyrobb5341 Where the hell have you been?? Haven't heard from you in a long time. I hope you are doing well. Everyone is good here, my wife got good news again from the cancer doctor yesterday. She has to get checked every 3 months. No you never said how old you were. 75, I would have never guessed that. Always GREAT to hear from you Gary and hope to again soon. Please take care and behave yourself. Thanks
@@grumpyoldguyreacts My friend! So good to hear from you. I just saw your message now. I thought I had offended you with my jest about young hotties. I’m so relieved. You’re about the only one I communicate with meaningful except my friend Jeanine who I just got off the phone with. Pretty strange huh? Oh well. I’m comfortable with it, more or less. Actually, not so. I’ve tried and am trying various treatments both legal and illegal to gain at least some interest in living. Meanwhile, it’s nice to not be concerned about dying. Apart from the honorable missus, howz everyone including da house pooch? Watching your videos expands my worldview along with yours. Cheers. Ta. To your health. Etc. later my friend.
@@garyrobb5341 Believe me Gary, at my age I think about dying every day. I'm not ready yet, I try to enjoy every day and retirement has done that. I go to the gym 5 mornings a week at 6 am and get a good walk in. I've been doing a ton of woodworking and we go to craft shows. I have 7 show's in 10 weeks. It keeps us both busy. Just hang in there Gary and I hope watching a video now and then brings a smile 😁 to your face. PLEASE take care and hope to hear from you again SOON.
@@grumpyoldguyreacts you’re a champ! Keep it up. I used to be. Set records in the navy and army. Haven’t cared enough to care the last few years. The good news is - I don’t care. Does that make sense? Hmm. This is all very confusing. Especially when I’m drunk. But I’m feeling good now and that counts for a lot. Also I’m grateful that there’s no one to worry about me or me about them. Takes away a lot of strain about living and dying. It’s so much responsibility for anyone to take on to have kids, grandkids, etc. And generally through no fault of their own things don’t always work out. Hitler had parents. So I have no firm beliefs about most things. I respect good people of any or no religion. In fact it seems a little arrogant to insist that one knows all about a supreme being and what He or She wants. Mostly He. Think about it. Men came into power at first because they were physically stronger and more capable of hunting and fighting. Women stayed closer to the “hearth fire.” There they promoted peace and calm. Or tried to. “Don’t fight! Share things! Stop teasing your little sister!” Etc. So. How did this become a philosophical discussion? Actually a monologue. Just fun to have a forgiving audience. Okay, I’ll stop bothering you for a while.
@@garyrobb5341You are no bother. I enjoy our conversations. I'm not one to be alone, I love lots of family and I still have a ton of friends that I hang out with or call on the phone. Well Gary , remember I'm here if you need to talk . Take care
My wife was a much bigger Beatles fan then I was but I really liked George. I felt bad when he passed. I probably just got sick of her always playing their music plus I always hung out at the local soda shop and their music was always playing. I was more into R&B at the time. Variety is what makes the world go round. So Tom, I take it that you still have a record player. Have a great weekend my friend.
@@DennisButton-lh6gr Yes I still have a record player and use it alot when I'm in the celler doing my woodworking. The Beatles were my 1st introduction to music and I loved them. Then I got hooked on Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Alice Cooper among others. George ended up being my favorite as well. I have a craft show tomorrow so I hope I can sell some things. Take care my friend
Another song i thought of today the flute by Petite Meller also New Soul by Yael Naim the 1975 the sound properly one of theirs I only know or familiar with
Oh yes just researching One direction a song that one of them did was called slow hands Niall Horan did it also live while we’re young by one direction is good as well
