All the best with this one Ed. You're our main source of real Burmese news on yt.
Ditto !😊
Ed . You obviously have your fingers in a number of pies ......you deserve far more recognition than you get ....thankyou .
Cheers John.
Much awaited, much appreciated excellent insights as always from you.
Using 3D printers in the jungle to make drones! Fascinating. I hope a follow-up drone video will happen in the future!
I follow this conflict a little through Reddit. The thing standing out most to me is how different the rebel groups look and act compared to the beginning of the conflict. Fatigues and assault rifles instead of t shirts and self built weapons. They even captured armored vehicles and such.
Yup, a lot harder to fight and loss way more lives in the beginning. Because Military still had motivation of holding on and after years of dishing out atrocities and genocide they think they can win.
Now after much capturing of Military bases and weapons, the table has really turn towards Resistance forces.
This is one of the great freedom struggles. Thank you for the insights and updates.
For once, the mainstream news mentioned the war; I only heard about the drone strike, but the increased attention shows its effectiveness and audacity. I'm glad to see that Ed's on the case so quickly, my first thought was that I can't wait to hear about this from someone who knows what he's talking about.
Thanks for the update. If rebels continue having success, it'll be interesting (& telling) to see to which country, the junta generals flee.
The Rebel Alliance is the only thing standing in the way of the Empire.
A = "CCP".
Singapore would also be a haven for them.
Bet on Thailand. They have a pro-junta government and disqualifed the winning anti-Junta government shortly after the last election due to violation of the "les majeste" law...
It might be either Russia or Thailand. Junta leader like Min Aung Hlaing and higher ranking generals will flee to Russia and middle and lower ranking guys might flee to Thailand since some of their family members bought several real estates in Bangkok and some have connections with Thai criminals gangs.
Thanks for the analysis...
Please cover the m18. It is an unmanned attack boat the USA has made that is similar to the Ukrainians. It has a range of 575 miles and a 1,000-pound warhead. It can reach the tiawan straight from the Philippines
I looked at the thumbnail before the title and thought "those are some weird Luftwaffe gliders".
Condoleances to family and friends of all the casualties.
Thank you for the update. Hoping that the Junta will end their rule soon and that there wouldn't be conflict with the separate armed groups after.
Thingan Nyi Naung has fallen
Great video, thanks for the update
I see the Kerens have taken Myawaddy today, so that's the main supply route from Thailand in their hands.
That end can’t come too soon.
Ed struck again.
Here's to a better future for the people of Myanmar.
One can only hope...
Anyone doing fundraisers to get the freedom fighters drones, NODS, etc.?
Good timing Ed.
i was wondering about you today & sure enough - you pop up -----
Busy busy...
@@EdNashsMilitaryMatters Writing a second book ?
It was 30 Drones to be have been reported by PDF.
28. 12 for Military Headquarter, 12 for Alar Aiport, and 4 for Min Aung Hlaing's home.
Ed: *_"...who are now using 3D printers in remote jungle hideouts to mass-produce long-range drones..."_*
The 2020s in a nutshell.
You should do a video on the high altitude Nasa WB-57 that they use for this solar eclipse. Think they used Dragon Lady and many more fkr the scientific side!
I dare say its not despite but because of indiscriminate use of Air Power
I don't follow the civil war, so I'm not sure of when it happened, but I believe recently China also mediated an armistice in the north between the Junta and the Three Brothers Alliance, which is mostly around China safe guarding their precious oil pipeline, but also Chinese companies mining operations in the area
Let fell apart a few days ago, I believe.
@@EdNashsMilitaryMatters well in that case ignore me
Support from "certain nations", any guesses? Usual suspects?
