@@BubsyMupsy I much don’t like fog much or mist, but I like the winter and our cold and snowy upstate New York winters. Nothing like an old colonial house, a nice fireplace or woodstove, a comfy couch and a good book.
The only thing that disappoints me with this calibre of rental cottage is when there's no wi-fi. I find that unacceptable. A TV I can do without but wi-fi is crucial, mostly for planning the following day's travel and activities; I need to find out what's open, special pop up events, opening and closing times, where it's all situated on a map, places to go for dinner or brunch and so forth and prefer to do all this on my laptop. Plus after spending a whole day in my husband's pocket, it's lovely to be able to sit and watch a movie or documentary, check on a recipe etc. With wi-fi, these sorts of places are heart-achingly wonderful.

Aloha dear hearts, thank you for this lovely video. I fell so in love with this cozy cottage. Exposed beams do wonders in a home. Had them in my A Frame cottage and spent hours just staring at them. The stairway upstairs with it’s creeping sound brought vivid images to my mind of families living there in a time gone by. The no TV or internet is absolutely refreshing. I have not owned a TV since the year 2000 and when people come to visit and notice no TV anywhere they are so surprised to hear,”Yup, no TV.” My only constructive suggestion is the upholstery on the living room cushions looks very 1970’s ish. Perhaps either a blue or green or even red velvet or an old fashioned upholstery covering would fit right in. Sorry about Mr. Drone, hopefully he can be repaired. Your background music is perfect, stay well 🏚☀️♥️.

Kudos to Dorian for his thoughtful and sympathetic restoration of this cottage. This is absolutely stunning, gorgeous understated beauty. You are correct, this is a proper historic property. The spoon collection is an unexpected treat - going back a couple of hundred years it would have been common for people to have handmade utensils acquired at different times, and not all matching the others. We take our current era of relative abundance for granted. When new, this cottage was special, and the pride of the builders/owners. The original yellow walls show that it was not a dreary place, but full of dreams and hopes. The children's box bed is wonderful.
We have so many hand carved spoons in our area. Many people have taken up the hobby.
How fitting that the daffodils welcomed you to Wales! The daffodil is the official flower of Wales. 🏴 This cottage is amazing! It is so wonderful how the owner kept the historic charm. Thank you both for this! 😊💜
All the creaking and groaning going up the stairs reminded me of my grandma's house! Such a lovely house for a holiday. And the locally sourced Victoria sponge looks delicious.

The birdsong is magical. What a lovely cottage, absolutely adore those wide windowsills. The up lighting in the kitchen, well I don't think I've noticed that before, it's such a wonderful idea. And couldn't agree more that it's great he restored, instead of remodel. Seeing Joerg sitting by the fire with his book, is exactly what I was thinking I'd do. Hope it works out ok with the drone.!

Almost felt like going back in time. The peace palpable. delightful. I once holidayed at a cottage in Wales at a place Called Strumble Head Without electricity, light by oil lamp, open fires, The oven and water heater for washing and baths was off some gas bottles outside the only mod cons. A great place for spotting Porpoise too.

I sometimes pause your videos to admire how well you have framed the scenery. The scenery you capture is breathtaking. I could envision some of the landscapes framed and hanging on a wall. We left Birmingham and moved to the border of Wales 5 years ago. Our cottage was so cheap and its beautiful now, filled with antiques that are so abundant and cheap, especially in Wales. Plus there are so many empty cottages all over Wales. Its still amazes me that it is cheaper to live in a beautiful place than in the city.
