This is unbelievable!!! That technique was created hundred of years ago and very FEW people can do this such of painting. You literally keeping the traditional oil painting as its finest. thank you so much!!!
You are a true Master in the ways you dance with the different shapes of your brushstrokes using the same brush - very beautiful vibrational effect of soft movements and sharp accents - and succeeding with a fine balance of the beauty of the roses and the green leaves - leasing a kind of mystery
As a person devoid of any technicalities that add depth to your incredible art l wonder that you have been observing nature around you so much so ,to it's minutest details, which shows right through your paintings I simply go along with your thoughts n hats off to your partner as well
Thank you for sharing! These loose wonderfully wild abstract/impressionistic roses or flowers, does it even really matter? The piece is so beautiful. Reminds me of old Vintage pieces I have all over my home, they are comforting in their "imperfection". Like all of us. I see your PERFECT peach rose, I'll take these any day! You are a wonderful teacher. When you said to look at the petals etc. as shapes, brush strokes it immediately made my painting life so much easier. Christine sounds like a peach LOL
I have to agree with you on this one- it does have a loose, wildness about it, and yet the peachy=pinks are tame and calming. to me, it's a perfect balance.
Bill, you are awesome! Love what you said about thinking of the roses as shapes! That will help me along I know! I've been painting for about seven months now and haven't figured out my niche yet. I love the brush, and the painting knife is a kick too. Do you ever paint with a knife? And rose or something else, I'm in love with it! Thank you for sharing your obvious God-given talent with us. He's not called the Creator for nothing! I just subscribed! God bless.
I love to see those diminished greens. Dull on their own but they just expand your palette here. Photography pushes out the grey in color because the eye wants to see hue and contrast. Skilled painters can do it all
Definetly roses. It looks very soft. Love it

+Bill Inman Thank you, and I love Misty Mountains. Gorgeous! I love your technique for creating that wonderful texture in the video.
Eu amo rosas.e as que você pinta são lindas. Y love.
that palette looks enormous
thank you for sharing. enjoy watching your video.
I love it. I think they look like a doubled petaled flower on some Island in the Pacific ocean. It is beautiful to me.
Love Terri Simmers.
I love your videos, thankyou so much! I must have watched them all by now. Can you tell me what medium you use please - linseed oil?
Amazing!

I love these wild roses. Sorry Christy
Beautiful
HERMOSA PINTURA !!!
Grazie di cuore!
I have lots of acrylics at home...is it ok to use them instead of oil?
You use a mirror? How and for what reason?
I sort of agree with Kristy...that yellow explosion without any realism to it, kind of distracts me from the rest of the beauty of the painting.
Yea, those are not roses. You have drawn Hibiscus.
