The last ride I did on my Ryker Sport was 210 miles and I'd filled the tank with as much as I could get in. After the ride I brimmed the tank again and squeezed in 5.1 (UK) gallons, so I'd done the best part of 40mpg. Or course UK gallons are bigger than US gallons, but I'm still very happy with the economy I'm got.
Thank you so much for the video! I just purchased my 2020 Ryker Rally this past October and I'm still learning about it. I have watched a lot of your videos and I'm a recent subscriber. I find that your videos are invaluable!
Just a note this is on the Rally. My Ryker 600 does not go blank if less than 30 on the left of screen. The lowers I have gone on the right guage is 18 miles left. It still showed. Great video info🤗👍🏾 glad the Rykers are easy to push
I don't have much faith in the distance to empty indicator. When I get down to two or three bars I look for gas even if I'm almost to my destination. The Suches area is one of our favorites and it's only an hour or so from the house. Take care.
That’s what dampens my interest in electric bikes like the Harley you pointed out at the HD dealer, running out of “fuel” and no place to recharge the battery. At least the Ryker is easy to push.
I totally agree. I guess you'd have to map out your rides based on nearest charging stations. The electric bikes aren't for long rides in the mountains, that's for sure!
Scary! Glad you didn’t run out though. That’s one of my frustrations with the gas gauge setup on the rykers...not accurate at all! I just set my trip meter each time I fill up. I can usually get 160-170 miles before the light comes on. I got crazy good gas mileage in the mountains though!
Wow! You cut that fine Little Sis. Awesome video. The low camera angle really gives a sense of speed. It’s like your doing about seventy mph. I couldn’t believe it when your gauge was reading 144 miles. I’ve never seen that before. Take Care and Ryde Safe Beth. Speak soon. 🙏🏻😎🏴
I watched this video last year and coming back here to share my experience. My tange has been showing 100miles and I decided to peek into the tank...it's damn near dry!!!!!!! My guage is not working at ALL!
Thank you for that information. Good to know! Hope you didn’t really let your tank go down to empty because you’re sucking all the crud out of the tank.
Thanks for doing this video. It was heaps helpful. Can I ask how many kms or miles you got out of the ride. I get about 120kms and freak out as the gauge drops a lot from there. BTW love all of your vids. Cheers Neil
Good video info😊
Glad it was helpful! I appreciate you watching!!
Hey miss you too. A couple more weeks Brian and I should be in sunny FL.
Make a list of things you'd like to see and do in my surrounding area!
@@RykerRydes will do.

That’s awesome. You do get much better mileage on city roads vs highway.

Thank you soooo much!!
have a nice holiday.
Thanks, you too! Hope you are doing well!
Not the hero we wanted but the hero we needed
That’s awesome!!!
Nerve wrecking. Another helpful video👍🏿
Thanks Reggie!
That's cuttin' it close!! Always the daredevil Hahaha
Im shocked you only get 144miles to a tank. That's crazy!
I don't. The average is 125! I didn't buy if for the MPG, but for the miles of fun!! lol. How much do you get on your Harley?
@@RykerRydes I can go about 240-275. Depending on how hard I ride.

Thanks for the info! That's pretty interesting.

I agree, never trust and always fill up! I absolutely loved the Suches loop!!
Gas gauge works 2 ways FULL & EMPTY nothing in between. That is what a old boss said to me when I ran out
lol
Thanks for the video. I wish the Ryker had a better gas mileage than 29 to 30 mpg.
You and me both!
Always paranoid I’m running out of gas. Nice job showing in detail with the ryker
Thanks 👍

I've been in your position when I drove from North Dakota to San Diego. It is scary. I do feel good that my gas mileage has just clicked to 30.7 mpg!
Right!! I feels good when it get to 30+ mpg.
I came close. Had the low gas warning light
Glad you didn't really is scary. I almost ran out also I wasn't paying attention, glad you were with other riders of you did, stay safe...
Yup, someone figured out that I had only 2.3 tablespoons left! WOW!!
Looks like you need a extra saddle bag with a small fuel can placed inside.
That would have been a life saver!
Great info! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
I ran out of gas riding from LA to Phoenix hit a stretch of 60 miles of nothing THINKING 45 miles was enough found out the hard way
Ugh! That must have been extremely annoying!!!
You were on DRY not just empty!
Yup, someone figured out that I had only 2.3 tablespoons left! WOW!!

The autonomy mode or miles left to push reading is pretty accurate. You just can't pay any attention to the bars.

Yes that was WAY too scary for me. Yup, someone figured out that I had only 2.3 tablespoons left! WOW that was crazy!
I miss you! Stay well brother!
That was really cutting it close.
You're not kidding! Wow was that scary!!
@@RykerRydes My new movie trailer is scary too😉

The tank will appear dry because of its odd shape. Try resetting your trip odometer and measure the mileage that way.
wow that is scary, I am happy you made ti to the gas station and Congrats on the 30.0 mpg!
Beth,
When the low fuel light comes on how many miles remaining
It depends on how many mpg you get. Typically you will have a gallon left. So approximately 30 miles left to push.
I have a feeling I would have helped you push, lol.
I know you would have! lol
It looks like reading the gas gauge gets confusing
Once you understand it, it is reliable. Thanks for watching.
I add gas every day
Thank you for that information. Good to know! Hope you didn’t really let your tank go down to empty because you’re sucking all the crud out of the tank.
Believe me, it was NOT planned or intentional!!!
WoW, your gas prices were really cheap. That's almost 20 litres. In Australia that would cost us $30-$40
Wow that is crazy! I'd be driving an electric car for sure!
Yes I have almost ran out of gas
Not a good feeling!

Hi Neal! Thanks so much for watching! I get an average of 120 miles on a full tank. Avg. 30 mpg. Cheers!
When you were at E how much more miles you think you could of gone before you were completely empty?
Someone did the calculations and figured out that I had 2 tablespoons of gas left! So not too far!
there is like 5 problems I have with BRP and the ryker and gas tank is just one , worst set up ever
Not the best, but you get used to the bike and how it works.
