In some respects, this entire game has been depicting the downfall of Vergil on both sides as well as showing V's introspection and growth past his trauma(which the reboot dlc kinda ham fisted when they montage you with Kat then Donte then Angel Eva) until he triumphantly returns to form.
That color swap on Dante's fit makes me like him way more. Red is still a nice color on him but this one fits him a bit better for 5 in my opinion at least. I would honestly play him way more if he looked like that.
The textures with no context at all makes it seem like a vampire hunter was brought back from the dead and learned undead magic(Dante) and is trying to defeat a multi-consciousness vampire which was the reason he died in the first place(Vergil) while another undead assisted him(Nero) and was assisted by a strange yet comforting human(V) while they get information from a Vampire Lord on where the multi-consciousness vampire is(Urizen)

Honestly, watching V modded as Vergil makes me realize it honestly would’ve been a lot better had they just let V look like Vergil and not go super hard In trying to make it an enigma on who V is, allowing them to go harder on le character work & spend less time trying to keep him in am enigma Plus seeing Vergil vulnerable could do a lot for his character
