Jetstream Sam was inspired by Vergil. Their swords look alike (if you compare DMC 4 Yamato to Murasama blade). Sam even got small moveset to honor Vergil.

And after seeing that SDT Aura Effect on Devil Trigger Dante, I think that's a detail he should've gotten when you equip Devil Sword Dante. 20:43 I need more propane and propane accesories! This goes to show Urizen should've been a replacement Beowulf weapon for Vergil. He already used punches/kicks and energy shockwaves during the boss battle. Vergil also should've had a base DT like Dante and Upgraded his SDT for AOE special moves like Dante's SDT. They already had concept art for it.
Finally as expected, v's cane instead of mirage edge ❤️ For people who are interested in my previous comment talking about the fanfiction about sephiroth vs vergil, search pastelpandora in deviantart website, you will see the urizen's gauntlets and greaves and the v'cane as force edge.
(imo of course) a nice tweak on the Coloured Judgement Cuts mod would be going from the default light blue on the 1st to something like deep red on the last, or some other colour, e.g. Successive Cuts progress in colours.

Sam is just perfect. His "Devil form" looks dope and even the Beowulf makes sense as sam uses unarmed attacks in his boss fight getting the mod now
and the thing is: Sam is actually more dangerous when he is unarmed.
Not gonna lie, when you fight him in MGR, boy does he punch and grapple with speed and aggression. Like Vergil and Nero mixed into one person.
