Homes damaged as tornado, storms tear through Ohio towns

A tornado was reported at 4:54 a.m. to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, spotted southeast of Springfield, Ohio. Heavy debris was reported on Mitchell Road.

I'd been watching the weather before I went to bed, I think I was listening for them in my sleep because I woke up immediately when I heard the sirens start going. Cursed pretty loudly and then grabbed my cat and went into the basement. That was a lovely wake up call.

As of 4pm 2/28/24 - four tornadoes have been confirmed per NWS.

I was at school and I got a tornado notification it was so scary

I was sleeping and I heard the alarm and I was just scary that it was coming at my house but it change its direction.
