Just listened to this for the 1st time. Great Rock Album. Think I'll hit repeat!
Extremely underrated album, thank you for the upload
The first 6 songs on this album are KILLER!
Found this CD in the dollar store bin as a kid 20 years ago and it became one of my favorites lol
One of the most underrated bands ever.
joedalton155 it’s seriously so sad to think Bon Jovi still plays arenas and they aren’t a song better than anything off this fake night ranger album. The real Night ranger should still be playing arenas.
one of the most underrated albums from them as well!
@@chabadoogilol yeah okay…Any of Bon Jovi’s many hits are way better than this album. Agree NR should still be playing arenas…
On my top 3 ranger albums. Gary moon rocks on this! Classic to me
"Precious Time" is one of the best Night Ranger tunes ever. I wish they would remake it with the current line-up.
OMG this is wonderful. Love the sound. Never heard this album before or Gary Moon but it is a rare gem. Awesome.
My friend David Zychek was introduced to NR by David Prater. ZMan recorded on this album and did the supporting tour. Kelly Keagy described David as “ the best utility man in the business, David harmonized, played guitar and keyboards on this album.
Sadly David passed a couple years ago from cancer, his stories with NightRanger were mesmerizing, talkin to Brad Gillis about playin with Ozzie. He is credited on the album.
I only met David a couple times but he was a great dude and the guys loved him.
This album may be their best in my eyes.... They all rock such as Music Box, and Longest Days kick ass!!! Thanks for this rare great release nobody has heard of. Have to show proof Longest Days was really them... lol
Thanks Rusty. I'm glad you like it...
I love this album so much.
So Amazing In Every Way
The part on Music Box where Gary’s high note grows and then blends perfectly with the guitar as Brad takes the note even higher is simply amazing. Can’t even tell where one stops and the other starts.
I saw the lineup Gillis, Keagy and Moon live in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
I saw them I think It was in coliseo Roberto clemente. I think I still have the ticket. that was back on early 90's.
Yessss, i saw that tour in Hickory, NC!
Great power trio (Gillis, Keagy & Moon) version of Night Ranger.
Interesting album featuring someone other than Jack Blades singing. I enjoyed it and am glad to see they kept the machine running without some of the original key members. I still think this band's first 2 albums should be remastered and re-released as a set
Precious time... Wow
This was a great album featuring Gary Moon on vocals & bass. As a powerful trio, Night Ranger really rocked.
I saw this incarnation of Night Ranger in concert on Sunday July 25, 1993 in Orlando, Florida. I had the pleasure of meeting the band after the concert. The guys were so down to earth and stayed to chat with everyone until the novelty of meeting the band wore off and people started to leave. A couple of the songs that are on this album were played that night (Mojo and Music Box). They were tight and played in pocket that night.
If I had to be critical about anything that happened that night, it was that they performed in an old sports bar in a suburban neighborhood. It was surreal to have one of my favorite bands at the time play in such a low key place. It was during the height of grunge and AOR music was not really marketable. It was a good time and I took some photos that I'll always cherish.
Ha! Had the exact same experience back then ... shat-the-shit with Mr. Gillis afterwards for at least 10 minutes ... so casual it was. Amazing and refreshing power-trio at this unique point! Was at the Dirty Duck way out West of Palm Beach. Only now am I getting to listen to the album.
GREAT SONG, SAW THEM WITH GARY MOON IN LAS VEGAS, GOT AN AUTOGRAPHED FENDER WITH GARY, BRAD AND KELLY'S AUTOS ON IT. REALLY GOOD CONCERT, VERY UNDERATED CD.
This is really good tbh
PRECIOUS TIME!
They actually played the song "Alligator" that wound up being on Brad's solo CD....also the song "Wrong Again" that was on Kelly's first solo CD...that song was the song that got them the record deal to record the Mojo CD.
This album is awesome DESPITE no Jack.
Many good songs on this album. I think it was overlooked because Jack and Jeff weren't in the band at the time. Gary's voice took some getting used to, but at least his bass can be heard more than Jack's. Gary just had a deeper tone.
David was my bands producer. Rest In Peace brother!!! I can’t wait to jam again in the great beyond.
The night has a way is a great song with a fantastic solo...
80s ROCK FOREVER
Please someone upload Precious Time as a track, what a great power ballad!
I noticed the basslines were better with Gary but Blades’s vocals is more unique giving it the NR feel. Still a very good album.
beautiful ¡¡¡¡
You Too!!
Gran disco. NIGHT RANGER no era solo una banda de baladas.
esto es Hard Rock del 90.
NIGHT RANGER TRES BON GROUPE DE HARD ROCK MELODIQUE
This album really shows Gary Moon's voice at its best. Oddly enough, even his solo albums don't capture the range and nuance he has. Pity. Does anyone know of any vids (not just sound) of Gary Moon performing live?
Night Ranger...
As I'm listening to this, it kinda reminds me of Hardline... Johnny Gioelli vocals. Hardline's last couple of albums were pretty dang good.Music Box is a song that caught my attn. on this one though.
This is a master piece album .We still love you from Japanese fan ! Thank you Night Ranger !!
Gary Moon rocks!
Finally catching up with Night ranger.... Thanks for the uploads! Just ordered this and high road and motion man. Could you post full as album of BigLife?
amazon
Classic
mithconn is right....the first few songs on this album are awesome.....Precious Time, The Night Has A Way...
I love the classic lineup but Gary Moon's vocals give a different feel to the band.
I got to see them in a small club in Oklahoma City in 1992 during this tour and
it was great. They did some of these songs and also some from Brad and Kelly's solo CD's well before they were recorded. Very rare stuff and an awesome show.
I saw them during this tour at a place called Gilligans Beach House. but it says album came out 1995 your saying 1992 ? I can't remember was to long ago
Sound quality bites me shinny metal ass!
Never been a HUGE Night Ranger fan, but I decided to listen to their entire catalog. This one is actually my favorite one so far!
The knee jerk opinion on people tanking Night Ranger's albums is to say this one isn't good. I bought it when it first came out and listened to the first few songs and liked it and put it away for some reason
I rate it equal to Nevermind,
Yes and Gary wrote most of the songs. He's my Cousin!
heck yes great music ur lucky bro yee lol
Un buen álbum .
Amazon is where I found it.
@JohnCapone. I know the story too bro. you might be better served as to reading the comment I was replying to. the other guy said the reason Blades was not on board for this album was because be didn't want to tour anymore and all I simply said was that he was incorrect in his reasoning.....which he was. The reason was because at that time, Blades was recording the still yet to be released 3rd Damn Yankees album. I don't need to get my facts straight. you need to re-read what my reply was to that other guy
Night Ranger Trio.
Who’s singing with Gary on Tell me I’m Wrong? Sounds like Axl but don’t know why he’d sing on this. Drew Hannah from Wild Side? Awesome track!
Solid Album. 4th best in my opinion. After 7 wishes album they went too pop, not enough "rock". I never heard this album before today.
night ranger with no BLADES?
Blades didn't want to tour in the 90's so Kelly and Brad Asked My cousin to make a go at it. Once they had built up buzz around the band again by playing metal rock the other guys wanted back in and Gary was ejected. But one thing is it got gary noticed by the listening public. He has many, many fans from touring and this album. he recently released and album. ruclips.net/video/DRXcODt1Ivo/видео.html
MrDaveintampa I thought Jack left to form Damn Yankees and because Man in Motion fared so poorly. I think your cousin played with Robbie Steinhart from Kansas, as well.
Yes and one of their best albums! Gary is a beast
sounds like Joe Elliott in some of these songs i almost thought JE was on backing vocals especially on last chance and tell me I'm wrong
As a big Night Ranger fan since the 80's, this record came like a gem to me. Seven and Neverland, with the original line up, were so poor in music. It is weird because you can not find this record in Spotify or Apple Music, is like it was banned from the original NR catalogue. It is good from head to finish. It certainly doesn't sound much like Night Ranger but I love it.
First 6 songs are amazing. Album goes downhill after that. Bought the cd when it first came out on the strength of Mojo song x
Best night ranger album
Wouldn't say it's Their best album
No
Where can I find the damn lyrics to these songs? I can only find Last Chance. I love to play these on guitar.
Buy the album
Great album. Better than Neverland & Hole in the Sun...
Does anyone know why Jeff Watson chose not to join this version of Night Ranger? I know Jack Blades was busy with Damn Yankees.
+Robert Holden shit, didnt realise that was jack blades singing for damn yankees!
He was playing in a band called "Mother's Army" that formed around the same time. Check them out. Awesome band.
@@dougieboxell6505 🤦
In a recent interview, Jack just said their time with Jeff ran it's course and the band as a whole splintered because everyone thought they were the songwriter
this one isn't in Night Ranger discography of Spotify
Whos singing sounds like dokken
Night Ranger finally got the "real" singer on this but did not make it unfortunately.
Darth Prater!
this is an excellent album..! they have still got it..!
Whos exptept hum?
What year is this álbum from?
Blades not being on this album has NOTHING to do with not wanting to tour. It was because Damn Yankees were actually in the process of recording their still unreleased 3rd album. If Gary Moon really is your cousin, that is all well and good but get your facts straight please.
sorry bro,, you need to get your facts straight! Blades left the band in 89' to continue with the Damn Yankees!! Brad and Kelly brought Gary Moon on to continue on with Night Ranger!! And I'm not related to any of them but friends with them and know the story bro!!
So you're telling me my cousin lied to me, he lived it.
Wrong, he left because the band splintered due to everyone in the band thought they were the main songwriter and couldn't get it together as a band
So far I'm on track 4 and it sounds like Kelly is asleep behind the drums with mostly bass heavy feathery whiny ass voiced Gary Moon playing his own crap until Gillis flys in to save it with some cool solos and production nuisances they make to the songs intros. Other than that, this sucks. I'm sorry
Is it just me...or ALL YOU ALL TONE DEAF>>??? That's like saying Gary Cherrone was the best Van Halen vocals!!!! GET A CLUE!!!!!!!!
Stacy Fuller technically cherone was an amazing singer.it was just the album that was not that good.is different
No way. Night Ranger without Jack Blades and a duo guitar is not Night Ranger. I don't like it. So boring
no wonder it didnt sell. this is awful. no Jack!!! yuck
Terrible
