Islam is a lot more finesse than Khabib was. I want to say at least 35-40% of Islam's takedown come on trips. Islam is also a much better boxer, much straighter, quicker, less tell to his punches. But I don't think he's quite the grappler Khabib was once he has you down, and I don't think he has the strength khabib had even though he looks a little bigger to me. I think Khabib would have never gone 5 rounds with Volkanovski. Khabib would have rag-dolled him. Islam is more well rounded but I think Khabib in his prime beats Islam in his prime but Islam still has a couple years to grow.
Love Mike's enthusiasm for the sport. You can tell he absolutely loves it. Top man.

Josh, honestly, for being Khabib's friend, you sure don't read him as a friend. UFC 242 was the first time in Khabib's fighting history, that his head coach, Abdulmanap, would corner him. It just so happens that Abdulmanap is his father! I leave you with two things: 1) Is there a universe in which Khabib would tap in front of his father? 2) As a "friend", don't you know that just before the fight, Khabib was working with Islam that exact sequence? So, Josh, I ask you: We are playing chess, and I have worked out a strategy that by giving you my queen, I will check-mate you with the next two moves. So, as you're taking my queen, who's losing, me or you? Either you're not that close friends with Khabib, or you don't understand the very sport I tune-in to hear you break down, whenever there are big matches happening!
Not sure you realize but I was his main training partner for most of his first UFC fights and cornered him for them as well. Try to keep up with my knowledge of the sport causal… stay in your lane from the couch buddy.. you’re here for our knowledge of the sport so read the room and chill. 😂

Dustin fought well against Khabib. Nice body kicks and super focused on the feet..Michael Johnson was super close to finishing Khabib also. He could’ve charged him with a flying knee etc or combos. Khabib recovered so quick though.
