After listening to the interview now, I understand why that 3-5% of fighters are not getting fights in Bellator they are probably the highest paid and he said it clear as day PFL is making a profit. Bellator is not and probably hasn’t in a long time. So fighting those guys would just be throwing more money down the drain. It might be bye bye bellator hopefully they turn a profit.

You could see Josh’s genuine curiosity when asking how their fighters are being treated and their previous fighter regardless of promotional banner. Thank you both for sharing! Great work as always!

I actually like Don's approach, but I do miss Scott Coker. Strikeforce was bad ass, his turn at the helm of Bellator was weird, wild and strange at times. Yet I think Coker really knew where the talent was and the value of someone like Mousasi.
Something about this guy rubs me the wrong way. The Idea he equates a Championship belt to a trophy is idiotic. They should just get a trophies and a check. This PFL slop diminishes what a champion is. How doe any fighter think this is a good Idea? Donn Davis is delusional.
They need to get better promotion like there’s no commercials no promos for fights coming up. Nobody ever knows when a card is coming also they need to get rid of this season format. It’s bullshit. They need regular division with the champion and a ranking system one through 15. In each weight class.

I appreciate you guys giving everyone an opportunity to expand their brand on the podcast, however there is such a thing as being too business minded. Don Davis comes across as someone who knows how to run a corporate environment but when it comes to the personality of fighters and how to handle those personal relationships he’s completely out to lunch. He comes across as having no idea what he’s gotten himself into. He desperately needs to be the financial backer and stay out of the day to day operations. If he continues to do what he’s doing, he will run that company into the ground. He seems like a nice guy but he’s delusional if he thinks what they are doing will put them ahead of the ufc. The pfl has good fighters but the business model is garbage. Good luck to him but I just don’t see it

Donn Davis has made Bellator worse. That French card with Cedric Doumbe main focus was on the NBA's Victor Wembenyama in the audience. Dude was being live streamed on 1/4 of the screen during the fights. No one wants random people all over the screen while watching a fight. Kaylah destroys everyone in the 4 or 5 years in PFL. Wins every tournament but 1. She leaves to defeat bigger names in the ufc for legacy and this guy says she’s a follower. No she left for legacy. She stayed way too long in PFL fighting no names and bantam and featherweights that moved up. Kaylah got paid a ton of money in the PFL. Never said an ill word about them. Then after getting paid moved to the UFC to finish her career and legacy. I didn’t like this guy in the beginning and still don’t. Give me Dana White and Scott Coker any day. As much as I like a lot of the fighters in PFLellator they will be the US version of ONE. A big promotion that only does big shows overseas. And that’s why they have Bellator separate. They did great selling tickets overseas. Sadly most of the US fans won’t care about the shows or the fighters.
