Love love love that song! Very powerful lyrics, but I feel like maybe there should be more? Or maybe just a bit longer. Otherwise everything is perfect. Dark and mysterious layden with love and heartbreak...perfect.
I like the Middle Eastern/Indian nuances in this track. Go with that! It has potential for new sounds for you. From a music consumer perspective, it's tough to figure out what I would be doing while listening to this song... maybe driving, surfing the net... It doesn't influence me to get up and "find that album... I must hear that track!" the way previous albums by Vast have done for me. The words kinda make the main character sound like a desperate guy. Sorry... been a fan since 1999, just being honest.

Brilliant and compelling track, got right into the groove of that one. That melody being powered out would make a great outro to the song. Much like the style of the The NIles Edge. Great stuff
This is such an emotional song and by far one of my favorite. It's really breath taking so far, it would be awesome right around 2:40 to give the listener an epic overpowering feeling, maybe some tribal but it is such a wonderful buildup of emotion that it just needs a punch. I want to buy this even as an incomplete track, I find myself going to listen to it several times a day. I would seriously play this at my wedding. My fiance and I were both overtaken when I first played this. LOVLEY!
I agree that i was waiting for a bit of a build up, a larger expression almost of the raw emotion that you are singing about, something to hit home. In addition though if this made the album, i think it would make for a PERFECT album closing track, its reflective :)
