    This was a very helpful video. Could you use this with a Fender 10G Frontman amp? Thanks -- Appreciate your time! ; )

      @@Hoodrio Thank you! I've had a Yamaha acoustic for while now but just got an amp and wasn't sure how to hook it up to my guitar. Think I'll get me one of these. Thanks for all the helpful info. ; )

    Hello. How low is your string action in that acoustic guitar of yours?

    • @Hoodrio
      @Hoodrio  Год назад +1

      Pretty standard action, why?

      I use this pickup and have quite low action, doesn't get in the way. (Fingerstyle)

    A newbie question (or two). In all the reviews I've seen for Woodys, they are sitting in the center of the sound hole. I'd like a pickup that will slide forward some. Is it because of the design of the Woody that it has to be in the center? Also, given that the cord might get in the way, is there any problem with looping it under the pickup to come out on the fretboard side? Thanks.

      Yeah, it pretty much has to sit in the center because it wedges into the sound hole and that’s how it stays secure. As far as your second question, you can definitely have the cord come out on either side. That’s no problem at all.

      @@Hoodrio So it can't be slid forward any toward the fingerboard?

      @@rickw.3426 No

      @@Hoodrio You can move it forward and backward. You can even spin it around and find sounds that way. I spent 29 bucks on it. I plugged it in to the Takamine CPT-3. It enabled me to stop using a mic in the studio. Less time using headphones, nice. Is very eq-able.
