Shudder Before The Beautiful - Nightwish (Guitar Cover)

A guitar play through of "Shudder Before The Beautiful" by Nightwish, from their 8th album, Endless Forms Most Beautiful. I remember the first time I heard this song, I almost cried at the duel solo section, since Nightwish haven't had a moment like that since 2000.
I'm attempting to cover the entire Nightwish catalogue (on guitar). With each video, I try to get as close to 'note for note' as I can, and include every individual guitar part (that I'm able to detect). Stick around and enjoy!

How do you do the whammy sound after the solo part? Is it a pinch on the g string 3rd fret?

Yeah so I did that with a natural harmonic, between 3rd and 4th fret, with a slow lift and descend of the arm. The pinch harmonic would work too, but those natural harmonics are like a guaranteed success for whammy bar tricks.

Thanks so much! This is the MH-401qm, I don’t think they make these anymore. It, along with most other ESPs, is a work of art.
Nope! All my guitar sounds come from my Line 6 Firehawk amp modeler. It’s more affordable than the helix, and in my opinion sounds just as good.

@@MichaelWhelanMusic .Thanks buddy.I am into Metal too so I am also thinking of buying an Esp Ltd Mh series. But considering the guitars in stock these days from the MH series not sure which one to go in for. Is the Mh-350 as good as the Mh-401?

I’ve not played a 350, but looking at the price range and the specs I wouldn’t be surprised if it was as good as this 401. You should try it out!
