I have a stray that showed up in January and he stole our hearts. He follows me everywhere. If I go the bathroom he follows me. And if he is in the living and I go in my bedroom he meows till we let him in. I never really cared for cats but this cat definitely made me fall in love.

@@DatNygma if you're not trying to reproduce then it's a bit wasteful to share your life with a whole other human - who will be a drain on your finances, a constant overhead, and will demand regular compromises every time you want to do something, instead of just doing what you want/need to do like a normal person. An animal just requires feeding, vet bills and/or insurance, and couldn't care less about your professional decisions as long as you put food in the bowl and pellets in the tray.

Thats so weird, ive probably also had about 10 cats in my life and id say about 6 have been cuddle bugs like this if you let them, 2 have been needy but just not fans of cuddles. Then 2 have been more independent or fans of cat comoany over human company
Many people can have cats similar, if you are the right person. Trust me, this relationship goes 50/50. Paquito isnt just gonna be all cuddles to anyone.
@@Chuckclc I totally agree, of course he wouldn't be like that with just anyone! Cats like Paquito are made not born. It's a meeting of minds, just the way it is with people. With our pets it's all about showing lots of love, time + patience which, not always but normally equals trust! Though cuddles are usually on a cat's own terms. I have only ever had strays, 5 in all over the years, my partner + I have loved them all + they have all lived to a good age. You have to put the work in to gain the trust of most strays, after all, why should they trust.! We mangaged physical closeness with 3 but our first was with us for 11 yrs, we + the vet estimated her to be 4 or 5 when she found us. We tried all ways but could never manage more than a gentle stroke down her back while she was eating. She must have had an awful life before she found us. She came in a collar that was too tight for her n we had to go to cats protection to get it taken off. She had belonged to someone before + when we took her to be spayed she had already been done. After the first few weeks she was very relaxed with us but made it very clear she didn't want to be stroked or cuddled but she, (TAMI ) displayed how happy she was in many ways, she did zoomies indoors + often ran vertically up a large tree in our garden, she knew she had found her forever home. It was hard not to be able to cuddle her, she was beautiful, i even dreamt once that i was walking round the house with her in my arms but it was never to be + i settled for how she was. She brought happiness + laughter as all 5 of our cats have + my 3 cuddle cats brought therepy too. I miss them terribly we lost our last 2 in the last year + I still have tearful days. It's hard for me to live without a pet. Would love another one but we are older now + it would have to be a middle aged cuddle cat, as i have health problems + can't stand the thought of leaving him / her behind. I used to have large breed dogs + loved + adored them, they are in my heart forever. It was later that our cats all started to find us.never meant to drone on for so long! Just want to end by saying the relationship between Andrea + Paquito is beautiful +quite unique, they are soul mates xx
I got a new cat a couple days ago from a friend leaving the country. He is such a ridiculous cuddler. Sleeps in the bed better than any dog I've had. Purrs always ready. It melts your heart. 😊

But when I come out from the toilet, he just runs away. Cats can be just as affectionate as dogs. But they will scratch you if they get the urge. I love watching you two ❤

Beg to differ, my late cat was super affectionate & always loved to cuddle to sleep. Doesn't bite or scratch. My neighbour's 2 cats are really affectionate towards me as well, whenever I come home they run to me, rub & start laying on my feet, trying to follow me in. I still have another senior cat(She's anxious), & a sheltie that doesn't bark, so I can't let them in for too long. I know a lot of cats that love to cuddle.
I've never encountered a cat who happily submits to, and enjoys, such a 'squish you tight with all the heart-exploding love feels' full body hug like Paquito does! I had a cat that loved spooning. I'd tuck him in with me and he'd lay in front of me under the covers with his head on my pillow. I'd basically just spoon-cuddle him, haha. He especially loved this when he was a kitten. It was that or sleeping like a halo curled around my head on the pillow, as he did the first night I got him. I miss him so damn much....

This gorgeous cutie has me lost for words! There's cuddle cats + then there's Paquito, he really is the most adorable cuddle cat, i have never known a cat as ready + willing to cuddle as Paquo. All mine have been loved + adored + so spoiled but cuddling has been on their terms. You are so lucky❤
I've been lucky all the cats Ive had in my life were cuddly. I had an amazing cat that would actually hug me and put his arms around my neck. He did that since the day I got him from the pound as an 8 week old kittten.

You are so fortunate! My cat can't resist the temptation to follow me wherever I go. It's like I can't have a separate existence. Poor baby just needs to be number one all the time. I put on the fan just so it makes extra noise, but he knows all my human tricks.
My daughter has a cat like this who loves me, his Ama, and will stretch out and make movements as to say 'Hello, I'd love for you to pet me' but when my daughter comes in, he 'talks' to her. Such a sweet bond they have !!!! 😊❤❤

He especially loved this when he was a kitten. It was that or sleeping like a halo curled around my head on the pillow, as he did the first night I got him.

@@TrustMeIKnowThings Wind yer neck in! I've had plenty of interactions with cats. The cat I bottle raised from a tiny kitten after finding her dumped was a permanent fixture across my torso. She demanded as much physical contact as possible but drew the line at me wrapping my arms around her for a 'squish cuddle'. The wording of my comment should have made it quite obvious that I was being facetious but I forget how humour no longer translates for so many Internet users these days 🙄

I've been lucky all the cats Ive had in my life were cuddly. I had an amazing cat that would actually hug me and put his arms around my neck. He did that since the day I got him from the pound as an 8 week old kittten.

You are so fortunate! My cat can't resist the temptation to follow me wherever I go. It's like I can't have a separate existence. Poor baby just needs to be number one all the time. I put on the fan just so it makes extra noise, but he knows all my human tricks.
