My wife hates that I make sure she doesn't forget that Terry Funk was in her second favorite Patrick Swayze movie I still prefer his appearance in Tequila and Bonetti
My brother and I were watching live when Terry cut the promo on Ric after he'd just won the blowoff match against Steamboat. That promo changed our lives. They had us hooked, and I still remember Flair telling Terry, "You've been rubbing shoulders with Sylvester Stallone and not the world champion." 😅
He is both the father and grandfather of Hardcore Pro Wrestling the Funker is my favorite old guy of pro wrestling even when he was just 30 something I can't believe he is 79 now with how hard he treated his body but I am glad he made it from most of his most memorable matches he was injured to the point doctors nowadays would have said that he can't do that he is one of the few old guys of pro wrestling that worked damn hard to get to living Legend amongst Legends
Might be old content but, it was new to me and very entertaining to listen to. Getting to hear from a healthy Terry Funk should put a smile on any wrestling fan tuning into these podcasts

This interview is from June of 2015! Ric mentioned Buddy Landel just dying so I looked up the date. Anyway, it would be great if they mentioned it in the description.
