      Based off how the prior pod ended it seems like this one is done with anything new too. Ric didn’t seem to enjoy doing the thing again when it relaunched to begin with honestly. Seems like he’s either making enough from all his other stuff that he doesn’t need whatever the show makes him to do it anymore or that it hasn’t been earning whatever he thought it would and he’s decided he’s done with it like he did before. With basically two months now of old stuff being uploaded it seems like they may just be throwing a show up for however long they have to fulfill whatever contract Ric probably signed when he relaunched the show. And maybe they haven’t confirmed the thing is done because of that. Obv I’m just guessing but it wouldn’t be surprising considering the past.

    • @Matt-cr4vv
      @Matt-cr4vv Год назад +2

      Seems like it’s ending again. This is kinda what I remember happening when the Ric Flair show ended back in the day. Out of the blue old stuff started getting uploaded and after some weeks of nothing new it eventually was confirmed that Ric got tired of doing the show and it was ending. We’re approaching two months without a new episode so I have a hard time thinking it’s going to continue - seems like they’re just gonna keep throwing up old stuff to fulfil whatever is left of the contract that probably got signed for the show when Ric launched the thing. I don’t think Ric has ever enjoyed doing the podcasts and just got back into it since there’s more money to be made in it now versus what there was back then and now is ready to be done with it because it isn’t earning as much as he wanted it to. I could obv be wrong but it feels that way when you look back on how he dumped Madden like he did and pivoted over to Conrad. That came off to me like he wasn’t making what he wanted with Madden and figured Conrad could help pump up the money for it and maybe now he’s just over it. He’s never really seemed like he was into doing the shows since he returned to podcasting, mostly with Madden and how he would give super short answers or never really dig into anything to make it entertaining. He was a bit better with Conrad but he just never really branched out about stuff to make it entertaining. And it seems he’s making a lot with his other stuff so it kinda seems like he either doesn’t need whatever it makes or it wasn’t making enough for him to want to keep doing the thing. Again maybe that isn’t the case but with two months of nothing new after he’s already dropped the thing suddenly before it’s hard to not think that’s the case again.

      Not sure what you were waiting on. This episode is from the archives of Rics original podcast from 2015 or so that was called Woo Nation. So it’s a fun reupload to listen to again because Corny is about as entertaining as it gets but this one has been around for 7-8 years now. There hasn’t been a new episode of the podcast since the wrestlemania recap episode they did so it’s been almost two months now since anything new. Based off of history at this point I am guessing that the show is done with new stuff and is just going to keep uploading archive stuff to fulfil whatever contract that got signed for the show when Ric launched it with Madden. Both the previous podcasts Ric did back when ended out of nowhere too. The first one didn’t end per se but went on hiatus out of the blue and when people started asking what was going on we learned they’d terminated their contract with their first network and we’re looking for a new one and the show relaunched a couple months later. But after it relaunched it was only around for maybe six months or so and before it was confirmed to be ending it went through a time of old episodes before Conrad eventually confirmed that Ric just didn’t want to do it anymore. Seems like the same thing is happening now.

    Houma Lousianna & Tulsa Oklahoma had to be the 2 worse places to wrestle. Flair & Corny are 2 of the greatest. I would have enjoyed to seen how a Ric Flair managed by Corny would work out.
