Great videos you have here 👊. I'm about to replace my stock speakers with these J620 for the back doors and JS600 splits for the front (same J-series). I have been listening on the phone with no earphones. For me, JVC comes across brighter, louder and clearer than others. I have a 10" 100W RMS underseat subwoofer installed in the trunk. It sounds so nice.
I plan on adding a small 4ch amp later and bring the sub underseat as hits the heaviest when you're in the trunk.
I anticipate a great budget sound in my little hatchback ✌️

That's awesome. Some folks will like the sound of a JVC and some will like a Kenwood or maybe a very expensive set of Focals. What most don't understand is that everyone likes a different sound. All speaker manufacturers sound different, but this is a good thing. This is the exact reason I started making these videos. It will at the very least, give the listener a taste of what the speakers sound like. Especially when you are on a budget and a DIY type. Anyways, good luck with your system. Hopefully I will have some time soon to continue these videos. I still have quite a few speakers I already purchased to test.

Definitely! I have 2 sets in my son's 2015 Fusion and he doesn't complain? Alot better than the stock! But he's also got a 12" Kicker Comp R in a vented box with a the Kicker CXA800.1 pushin it so he doesnt have to worry about bass lol I have a set of Rockford Prime 6½s and 6×9s in my Silverado but those were $80 a set I believe

@@jameslacombe5211 having a sub to pick up the low end is a huge plus to a system especially a budget one. Even budget speakers can be made to sound pretty damn good!

@yandisaggada1153 Did you go ahead and installed the JS600s and J620s? How's the sound quality? Do they have enough bass?

Kenwood all the way for me.
The JVC treble presentation is to pronounced and separate from the rest of the music.
The kenwood treble sounded as clear but more apart of the music.
At the 8.45 the opposite was said. It all comes down to the listeners preference hopefully listening in shop before buying. But again this is different from how they will sound in your vehicle as this demo & shop versions are mounted in a box.
I wouldn't use either as they don't move enough air but I use car audio speakers for my workshop stereos. For example I'm using 4 pioneer TS-A2503 & an old pair of Ts-A2510 in carefully crafted custom cabinets like mini line arrays easily powered by an old Technics amp.
They make a big sound which is how I like my music and complete overkill but the question is what to do next. Another two pairs of TS-A2503 or make a pair of subs?

Very nice analysis! To answer your question, adding a sub or some nice midbass would probably set it off.

    Which one is better?

Honestly between these 2 speakers, they are so close, either one will suffice.

How much power you feeding them?

    • @T_B_C_L
      @T_B_C_L  8 месяцев назад

I'm going to guess about 50 Watts . I have them running bridged off of a taramp 400.4 and the Amp is turned almost all the way down.

I'm sure they sound way better in front of you than through a video. Especially amp power. I think 4 of these from either brand and a good sub, you'll have a nice setup. Better than a premium sound system that comes with some cars from factory.

@@RenePerez-pu4cj maybe not all premium systems as I've heard some pretty good ones but yes, I would agree, much better than most of them.
