i was there live. some pleb tried starting a "Boring" chant during both Cruiserweight matches. Dabble Yew Tee Ef. also, before a Cruiserweight match comes on, they go to a commercial break and they bring in the ring squad to cover all of he ropes in purple duct tape. and they change some decals on the ring posts. they did that twice because the Cruiserweight matches weren't right after each other. there has got to be a more efficient way of doing that lol. it takes so long.
it's unfortunate but the buildup to having the cruiserweights on raw was near non existent. no character promos, no video packages, just 'hey, we're gonna have cruiserweights now.' Nobody except for the hardcore marks know who they are and as a result the matches have been doomed to silence from the crowd every week. if it proves anything it's that it takes more than just a bunch of fancy looking moves to win over a crowd.
