The WDB that Bryan rescued from the kitchen looked like “oh no, they called rattlesnake solutions and he is here for me.” 😂
I am a Snake rescuer from South Africa 🇿🇦 I like your guys videos so keep it up
Thank you for the support!
Only had one Rattlesnake come inside my back door and relax next to the side of the door. Mojave 2.5 ft. Ironically I was walking in with my midwest tongs in my hand and immediately noticed theout of place color patern and picked it up and walked it 200 feet behind my home here in Joshua Tree ca. No biggie. I am semi retired from rattlesnake rescues. Did that since 1999 and very happy there are new youngsters carrying the torch profesionally to keep our snakes and families safe. Now I teach dogs to avoid getting bitten. Been picking up rattlesnakes since 1966.
Snake: " What's for dinner? I want a steak, baked potato and pie, Thanks.
that was so pretty and so big King snake. Seeing that rattlesnake so defeated after the kitchen adventure really reiterates that snakes just mind their own business. Dealing with encroachment and ending up in yards has to be stressful.
I would never get rid of a Kingsnake living in my garden in the middle of rattesnake teritory.
I was at a reptile store and they had a California king snake for sale. I live in Colorado springs which they are not native to so it a legal pet snake
Right?
@@IntoTheMystery13 they arent native here in Colorado
What if you have a dog? I think it would be hard to choose in rattlesnake territory….dog or snake killer!
@@auggiedoggiesmommy1734 it's very unusual to see venomous snakes indoors but it sometimes happens if ppl dont take the necessary precautions when it get so hot during the day
I always enjoy these videos, like having private classes.
Glad you're liking them! We're excited about the new format. We get to show a lot more of the job itself than just the snake going into a bucket.
King snake acted like he was someone’s pet
I will never understand why people would want to get rid of a king snake from their property. I mean, they eat rodents and rattlesnakes. What could be better?
We all have our phobias, and that’s ok.
Agree.
I love King Snakes, as well as Rattle snakes. These Videos are awesome.
Thanks for watching!
Mom had a garden snake under the kitchen counter caught in a glue trap.
With enough rodents in the house to attract snakes, the cat was questioned to decide if his services would be needed any longer!
The big rattler probably thought the rats from Ratatouille might be in that kitchen ;)
I wouldn’t mind that king snake!!
I am not fond of snakes of any kind, but you bring a very informative approach to dispel misconceptions about these animals.
Perhaps those misconceptions are the reason you don’t like snakes ;) I’m glad you are here.
Snakes are great for our environment out here in Arizona they eat rodents like like pack rats
King of kings! 👑❤️
Another great job on the Rattler! 😳👍🏽❤️🐍
We’ve had rattlesnakes in our house. One in the kitchen lol. The others in the living rm. not Dbacks tho. Great job and what a beauty of a kingsnake
It happens! It’s important to keep the doors and windows closed!
Clean that garage up would help.
New subscriber here, love your channel and work!😊
My mom was raised in Az on a watermelon farm ... They kept King Snakes around for the rattlers ... Seeing one in the house/yard was a daily occurrence.
Fantastic - lovely King! I wish I got more of those. How did you know that diamondback was a male?
It takes some practice to tell, but generally speaking the tails on the males are longer and thicker than the females.
@@RattlesnakeSolutions Thanks! I'll try to use that!
What we have here in Northern California better rather spectacular are California mountain kingsnakes that have red black and white bands. You don't see them too often but it's always a treat when you do.
Shout out to Link Wray for the guitar riff at beginning and end. "Rumble!"
I have a big Rat snake that visits my yard sometimes. It is more than welcome! Just having them around can help control pests.
What kind of tongs are those, and where can I buy one? Your team are Superheroes for catching and relocating snakes from harm.
We get them at Midwest Tongs
@@RattlesnakeSolutions Thank you soooo very much for sharing where to get snake grips! Here in the Southern California area, those grips are needed to keep safe from dangerous critters without harming them.
" I never get them this big" lol
So very cute
Hello from Amado. Az. 🙂🙂
The king snake is gorgeous! Let's say I want king snake to stay in my garden. What should I build for it to make it stay comfortable?
Sincere Question: "Why would you get rid of a California King Snake if it's not Venomous and it eats Rattle Snakes?"
It's a great question - I'll record a response and include it in an upcoming video.
Rattlesnake
@@robertyoung3992 Yes.
Jesus in a kitchen? I would have a heart attack. My question is how the hell did he get in?
These things usually happen when a door is left open for one reason or another.
Here in Colorado springs if it's not a rattlesnake its harmless. We only got 3 species of rattlesnake and everything else is non venomous
Hey guys I appreciate what you guys do you’ll inspire to do the same so I signed for a class at some kind of herp place
I love that king snake I want one but I live in Monroe Washington & I don't think there's any pet stores that carry's any
I’ve read that rattlesnakes have fragile ribs. Don’t the tongs injure them? I’ve noticed on various rattlesnake rescue videos(not so much in your videos but occasionally) the snake is biting or biting at the tongs. Is it because the person running the tongs hurting the snake? It sure looks uncomfortable for the snakes.
That guy who had king snake was an idiot! If I lived in Arizona I would have multiple king snakes in my yard to keep rattlesnakes out
Two questions for you... How do you manage your calls? Do you have certain folks "on call" at specific times, or does someone act as a dispatcher of sorts (I guess I'm kind of curious about how you manage work hours for your staff, as well). I'm also wondering if you ever have any merch for sale, like t-shirts, hats, official Rattlesnake Solutions snake hooks, etc. :P
We have several people on call at any given time, managed by an application we built for that purpose. Depending on the time of day, we have a central dispatcher that answers the calls and sends them to the closest person with the relevant experience. On a busy day where we have 3 or 4 calls happening all at the same time, it works out very well and we can cover the entire Phoenix and Tucson metro areas within a half hour very effectively.
@@RattlesnakeSolutions t-shirts! 👍🏽
He didn't want to go! Dinner was at 7:00 😉
Why don’t the rattlesnakes strike at the snake tongs? I’m sure they would strike at your hand.
I would keep it
You ever take people out on calls. Stay Safe
I find it comical somebody calls to have a king snake removed. Do you know rattlesnakes and other venomous specimens I could understand, but not a king…
We wrote up our thoughts about it here: rattlesnakesolutions.com/snakeblog/arizona-snakes/why-relocate-harmless-snakes/
At least rattle snakes give you a warning when you are near.
not all do the Eastern Diamondback will not rattle before striking
Well, at least he didn't "musk" you. What can't folk leave King and Gopher snakes alone?
I would leave that King snake alone and wanting on the property.
Can snakes get rabies?
Nope, rabies is a mammalian disease
How do you know a male from a female
There is a slightly different shape of the tail and latter body. Males generally have longer tails than females as well.
I have a snake in mi kitchen, what am I gonna do??
Now if I lived there I would have you leave king snakes at my house,
If I woke up to go to the fridge to get a glass of kool aid and I heard that that I couldn't get my rifle quick enough I'd probably get tagged going and getting the rifle. By the way getting "tagged" means getting bit. My dumb ass would probably miss the snake and put a nice bullet hole in the floor.
