This is our very first sponsored vinyl episode series, yay! Since this channel doesn't make any money out of RUclips and ads, it's very vital for us to get support from brands. So, thank you Yemeksepeti Banabi. They are Turkish online food delivery company providing the facility to place food orders online from an affiliated network of restaurants without charging the user any extra fees.
I've been wanting to make this episode for a long time, but I didn't have all the records I wanted to play, until this month. I am really happy with the result and I hope you will enjoy it too!

God Hates Anime so much hate in you. Sad.
I'm from Vietnam, but I'm currently living in the UK. About 12 years ago I came across Orhan Pamuk's novels, not even actual books - I pirated PDFs off the internet! The first one I read was My name is Red. I dreamt of one day travelling to Turkey. Obviously, life has different plans and I've put a lot my dreams away, but since I started listening to your channel, it feels like all my little dreams and fancies are coming back to me.
So yeah, Thank you for doing what you do!.
Bro, read this one from Memed My Hawk "Yashar Kemal", a true Turkish novelist, a legend. you will understand songs better.
Wow, turkish bossa nova... I'm brazilian and sometimes I forget how influential bossa nova was around the world.
I'm enjoying the setlist! :)
Oi! A bossa nova turca é a descrição perfeita para este tipo de música :) Obrigada!
Que loucura né! também fiquei surpreso!
E o melhor, com balanço!! Não aquela bossa quadrada que a gente ouve na gringa.
Muito legal
I'm a big fan of bossa nova as well. Which turkish song you think has the bossa nova influence?

I love turkish music, greetings from Brasil.
@Alex Taylor because listening to one genre imediatly makes you incapable of listening to other genre
@Alex Taylor do you not like French music, Spanish music, Greek music? Are you saying we should all listen to the songs we only know the language of? I am sorry but I don't think you should listen music at all if you think this way.
Alex Taylor and I don’t care...

Exactly what I needed for my quarantine cleaning. This channel and starfunkle have given me a completely new appreciation for music. Thank you for introducing me to so much music I'd have never found!
Thanks for the starfunkle recommendo.
@Alex Taylor Surely they're spending they're lockdown making another mixtape.
Anyone know how to find the individual song names?? Along with the time at which they are played?

That is beautiful jazz brother. Im from South America living in Australia with Turkish friends and have never heard Turkish Jazz. Awesome brother. Im an old skool DJ from the 80'-90's Funk era. All the best and thank you for posting.
Hi from a Turk in Radelaide! Glad you're enjoying it!
I'm Turkish from Melbourne. Hi to you and your Turkish friend.
Oh wow this is why I’m using RUclips. Never thought Turkish Jazz would be this good! I travelled Turkey in 2017 and wish I could have a chance to listen one of those there.
Turkish Jazz is a whole new genre the youtube algorithm showed me. Man, this is so awesome
This channel is one of the reasons I went out and bought myself a record player. Now Im hunting for some rare finds! Thanks for the inspiration!
Great music! I never heard this before and is so beautiful... thanks for sharing! Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽☺️☺️☺️ and please keep sharing this beautiful Turkish music 🎶💕

Turkish myself here, perhaps the God of RUclips algorithm has blessed me since this beautiful video showed up in my recommended list. I am surely going to check out your other videos too. Great work and content :)
One of my absolute favourite channel discoveries of the past few days, great to see someone out there shining light on these hidden gems, always happy to be introduced to non western artists in particular as it's hard to find stuff beyond ones own cultural bubble at times. Will probably follow your content for a long time, i just gotta figure out how to finance all these additional new vinyl purchases now. Best wishes from germany!
gute Worte!

Thank you so much for bringing us this amazing music! I'm in love with how the Turkish language sounds when sung. Funnily enough, I was introduced to it by a Congolese artist called Ricardo Lemvo, who has a beautiful rendition of the song Elbette.
This was such a beautiful way to start my day. THANK YOU!
I love these so much, Turkish music is so pretty
Ne kadar güzel ve farklı bir kanal. Paylaşımlarınız müzik kulağınızın inceliğini gösteriyor. Farklı kültürlere Türk müziğini tanıtıyor olmanız ayrıca çok güzel bir misyon. Tebrik ederim!
Im from Germany and I just found this music. The music is wonderful :)
I never thought I'd hear a jazz cover of Aşık Veysel. Good find!
You'd be surprised how many there are. I think you can find Aşık Veysel classics in numerous genres from heavy metal to jazz or from acoustic indie to typical pop haha
You should also check Asik Veysel from Joe Satriani.
You might want to check out Jülide Özçelik. I like her covers the most.

I discovered your channel through the magic and serendipity of the RUclips algorithm, and I love your videos and music! Thank you for your work and creativity. I really enjoyed this setlist on Turkish jazz. Just the kind of music I want to listen to right now.
My first introduction to Turkish Jazz. Thank you for the experience!
Your content is beautiful. The plant and home vibes, the music, all of it. So glad I discovered your channel.
Didn't think I would be listening to Turkish jazz while I work today. Thanks! :)

This channel has done an amazing job of opening up a whole other world of music to me I didn't even know was out there. Thank you M.A.J!
I thought I was the only one that had Hiroshi Nagai pictures on frames around my house ;) Very good taste also in illustration!
İ was feeling down after days of quarantine and i saw this channel. while listening this i made coffee and now i am feeling soo good ☺️thank you soo much for your hard work👍
Edit: yemek sepetinide ayrica kutlarim boyle harika bir kanali farkedip sponsor olmuşlar 😁👍
Awesome playlist with both classic jazz, jazz fusion mixed with some Anatolian Rock (ex. Tulay German) and Turkish Folk ( ex. Asik Veysel) classics! This is a milestone! Amazing montage both for the sound engineering and camera. And it's great to see comments from around the world engaging in kind, positive and inclusive dialogue. Let us come together from a place of kindness during this unprecedented time in humanity's history. Perhaps consider to TRANSLATE the titles of the SONGS to English as well?
Harika bir iş yapıyorsunuz!☘ Büyük bir keyifle dinliyorum 💜💜 Just love it
Wow, you're really pretty!
This is beautiful to listen and to watch. Love the way your shirt colour matches with the mixer, the sofa, the coaster and the juice ❤️ Lovely Hiroshi Nagai prints as well.

Jazz Semai'yi duyduğuma inanılmaz sevindim ! Türkiye'de pek az biliniyor, teşekkürler :)
Working outside while listening to these awesome tracks... it's a cloudy day and chilli outside.
As a turk İ just realized our some old jazz songs were really good. Thx for this unique experience !
This ist the channel and ambient I‘ve searched for so long time, are you Turkish Dude? Thanks for introducing us in this world of turkish music. I was definitely born in the wrong century. Peace from Germany.
But because you were born in this one, you have access to amazing music from all over the world at the tip of your fingers. So it’s not all bad. ;)
Of course you are right, but I think less is more :) what i wanted to say is that our century has no typical character like in the 20s, 70s or 90s...
Who knows, maybe in 100 years someone is going to look back and say the same about us now. ;) But I totally understand what you mean, and this channel gives me this nostalgic feeling about a time I never lived in and places I've never been to. The power of music...
Here we go again. Wish we could hear Ferdi Ozbegen - Kopruden Gecti Gelin but this playlist rocks anyway. Thanks again man
Ferdi Özbegen's Sandigimi Açamadim is also great!
Thank you so much for the channel! I have been enjoying it very much for some time now. I love your selections (almost always). Also, I love that I can't understan lyrics in other languages because, in majority of cases, the lyrics are silly and it spoils the enjoyment I derive from listening to beautiful music. Best wishes!
Magnifique !!
