I love when I meet someone and they say they listen to "all kinds of music". Which usually means rap and Indy. Then I'm like, "oh yeah? Listen to a lot of Turkish disco?"

WOW! Never imagined to hear a Turkish version of "Palabras, Palabras" from Silvana Di Lorenzo. Cool to see how music crosses boundaries. Greetings from Chile!

Once upon a time in Bulgaria there was a festival called "The Golden Orpheus" and it was held in Sunny Beach. Each foreign artist had to present one of his own and one Bulgarian song. In 1976 Sibel Egemen took part in it and she sang the wonderful Bulgarian song "Holy Mother" / "Maichitse svyata", written by the composer Mitko Shterev. Here it is in an recording from 1976 in the Bulgarian film "Return from Rome" sung by Vasil Naydenov -->
