I have those same guards which I like, the slipping down the leg issue can be stopped by crossing the middle strap to the lower connection & like wise the lower to middle so you end up with a cross look behind.
Great review, I've recently purchased the white ones. And after 5mins you forget you're wearing them. Sooooo comfortable. Great idea about adding another clip hole.
I actually just got some new Fox ones very similar ( but also have D30 armour in between the guard and soft back base ) used on road ride and off road rides now - very comfortable and protective
Recently broke my knee driving without protection (like an idiot -_-) and looking for some sturdy knee protection that isnt just padded pants for when i get back riding very soon, these look pretty good edit: After around year and many falls of using them, they are quite excellent, although the slipping is a bit annoying. Great to kneel on for roadside repairs too :D
Thank you I was confused about what size to get and almost ordered the sm/med thinking I am sm or medium in everything lol That said Im definitely not a petite lady lol so I will go with the larger size :D Thanks again :) Stay safe out there :D
I know what you mean. I have a pair that I have had for a while. It’s time for a new pair. I like the fact that the ones you showed on your video looks easier to put on as compared to what I have. I normally don’t wear them unless I plan on riding my euc pretty fast, and then it seems like a hassle to put on. Those Leaths may be just what I need. Thanks again.
@@clubkabuki3414 The convenience of being able to slap these on over anything you’re wearing is awesome. Gear only works if it you’re wearing it and if it’s uncomfortable or a pain in the ass to get on it’s not part of the gearing up routine
First of all thanks for all the info, one thing I want to know is that does the hard area around the knee scratch the fuel tank ? I have an Africa Twin and sit up pretty upright and am afraid the fuel tank might get scratched with the hard plastic
THANK YOU FOR THE DEMO I JUST BOUGHT A EBIKE YAMEE 750S AND IS LOOKING FOR THE UTMOST PROTECTION . I HAVE A GOOD ONE BUT HAVE TO SLIP ON STYLE THING YEA NOT SO GREAT UNDER NEAR PANTS THING.
zenlee reviewed the new ones (pro 2024) and he didn't think the extra money was worth it at all and nothing wrong with the older ones so am going with those and save £40. ruclips.net/video/C0saQwl6WGE/видео.html
where did you get your EXN'S battery upgrades done to it i'm Humboldt County Northern California ? and i can' t find the video or your RUclips on it anywhere your friend Mr. needing to know
Super weird question, but I have bigger quads and calves. The Leatt sizing guide on their site says that I need XXL size for these pads. Does the knee area get wider and wider with size ups? Like would they just be annoyingly too wide for riding an EUC? Or does it just change the strap sizes and lengths of things? 😊
The one time I saw someone get the XXL they regretted it. The straps are comically long and remover they stretch out big time over use. I’m already on my 2nd pair because the straps loosen over time
Eventually after enough crashes that is a possibility. I know someone who sheared his off on his last crash but he’s worn them for over 1 year and he’s a regular rider.
No, but I’ve been wanting to try it on. I was literally calling shops around town, I could Amazon it. I wish there was someplace local with protective gear in stock
@@EUC_Crush I ordered the alpinestars and leatts in large. I'm 6ft and 185 and decided on keeping the leatts. The only advantage the alpinestars have is there much more breathable. The leatts just feel better in every way besides breathability.
@@Bigmonkey34mn thanks for letting me know. I just pulled the trigger on the Alpinestar chest piece, I got the XS/S and am a little worried about it being tight. I’ll let you know 🤙

Mine have saved my knees a few times already, went for these right off the bat.
Smart choice
Fantastic tip on the middle strap mod! I've had these for a few weeks and that is something I'm going to do!

Thank you for your review, I was looking for real comments and I just ordered a pair ✌️
You’re welcome ☺️ still wear these guys.
Yup, I just picked mine up. These are the standard for EV use.

The Leatt dual axis is a staple in the portland community and cheap for the amount of protection. $100 MSRP
Great review. Helped me decide on purchasing these knee guards. Thank you!
I still wear them, had to buy a second pair but totally worth it 🚀

Thank you for this video
Excellent video! I’m going to look into those Leath knee guard. Thanks.
I JUST ordered another pair in the white because my other pair is on its last legs. One too many falls after 1.5 years of riding
