As a Carolina fan, this was a tough game to watch, but I give kudos to Denver for that sick defense they had. As a whole, the Panthers seemingly haven't been the same since this loss, which has shown by the records and their less than commendable efforts under Rhule.

trust barrow I live in NC and I hate the panthers when they're good. Couldn't blink without hearing "superman" "dab" "15-1" "Norman best CB" "what'd the redskins do" and the local news was completely unwatchable. It was absolutely glorious to see the panthers lose and all the excuses the next day. Hands down one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history. So much hype for the Panthers, but they looked like they were not prepared for a super bowl for the next 5 years. People wanted to see Manning win another one, and he did. While I am a pats fan and I am upset that we didn't make it here, I have a lasting respect for Manning as he wraps up his HOF career.
Neither franchise has been the same since this game.
