I have seen Lars Alexanderson customized as Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 years ago for Tekken 6.
I always thought that lili would fit bayonetta because of her elegant fighting style and there are some things that Lili does that bayonetta do like the bow down to an eye wink.

It's wild to think how much cooler and more creative alternate skins look in Tekken 8 compared to Street Fighter 6 and especially MK1. And that's not even taking the fact that you have to pay money for said skins in those two other games.
Bro, the craziest part is that for most older Tekken fans, the customization here is actually just a point compared to the past entries like Tekken 6 or TT2. So the fact that we're seeing so much cool and dare I say accurate redesigns of cares from other games, movies and animes goes to shows how versatile this character design palette can be with this engine in these character models.
If Bandai Namco decides to add more stuff from past character outfits from previous games to even just more generic outfits, we can have what looks to be the best custom character simulator ever made.
If they bring back ttt2's customization where you can actually design, put stickers and grafittis on your outfit, then I'm sold
Edit: just realized that this could be a lawsuit waiting to happen as players could do copyrighted costumes

@@qwerttzizzi to be fair it should’ve at least had everything in Tekken 6 & 7 carryover. They can save super crazy stuff TTT3. Which honestly might just be a mode/version update to T8 halfway into its life.

I've seen a Kakashi in some other video so it's doable, don't remember if it was a Raven base though.
Tekken 8 absolutely knocked out out of the park. The gameplay feels buttery smooth, visuals look out of this world in unreal engine 5, and a story mode looks to be the best ever came out of the fighting game genre.
The netcode was even improved from the beta, a rare cry from most AAA games nowadays. Plus with all the train options along with can see of ghost battles there's just so much you can do for any type of player. It's insane. Everything feels well thought out and actually worthy of a modern game. It might very well just be the best Tekken, if not one of the greatest fighting games ever released.
The fact that we're not even a weekend in and we've already seen a whole variety of different customization options for different characters that go from movie stars to various gaming icons to such a specific, accurate degree goes to show how much replayability and creativity this game allows us, despite the fact that we all seemingly thought the customization options were disappointing compared to the past entries.
After Street fight 6's recent monetization issues and Mortal Kombat 1s... _everything,_ it's great to see the last of the big three deliver a fine game that truly deserves to be called AAA. The bar for fighting games and 2024 gaming has yet again been raised, and I'm excited for the future.
Now please Harada, put Tifa and Yuji Itadori in the game I'm begging you.

was expecting Reina as Bayonetta, Zafina was a surprise. Reina was designed by Mari Shurimaki, the same lady who created the aesthetic and character concept for Bayonetta
My favorite character customizations would have to be The Forger Family from Spy x Family, Mario (everyone’s favorite Italian plumber), Sub Zero + Scorpion, Yujiro Hanma, Peter Griffin, Senator Armstrong, and Buzz Lightyear.

I'm so impressed by Tekken with the cosmetics they offer on release. Capcom has u paying for all their cosmetics in sf6. I hated that every character costumes were monetised up to the price of a brand new game!

OMG these are absolutely hilarious! I loved the Ace Attorney pair. Reina as Bayonetta was just..fitting. I'm surprised no one's tried to put any of the SNK characters in there, though. Iori Yagami comes to mind immediately. Also, with the Ken vs Ryu match, someone needs to skin them as He-Man and Skeletor. That blonde hair just clinches it.
