Late, September, 1968. I had just re-enlisted and decided to buy a " Stang" with the bonus. I wanted a 68, 69s were on the way. I wanted a 68 because they had extra long warrenty. I wanted a red, fast back, black, 4 speed 289. There was none. So I settled on a regular , straight 6, 4 speed. Lol...Had the car about two weeks. Sitting on a ramp at a used car lot was a 68 Red fast back, black interior, 4 speed 289.

Nice car, the instrument cluster was a bad idea in my opinion. Not the greatest look for that car. And you can tell he's in Michigan by the pot holes. 😂
