I have a light warm olive complexion. I LOVE the original Gold. Although it’s OLD, mine still seems to be performing very well. Because this color story is my jam, I also got Golden. I love it. In spite of already having Gold and those shades, I love them both and use them differently. When I use the OG Gold, I get more of a LOOK. The formulas of the mattes are very pigmented. I get a very sultry look from it. When I use Golden, in spite of having the “same” shades, I get a very day to day look because the matte formula applies softer than the Gold formula and more buildable not a pigment BAM at once like Gold. So for me, although the matte shade may be the “same” in Gold and Golden they are different. I like both, but I do think Golden is a more modern take. (Plus there are more lighter mattes and the updated shimmer formulas in Golden that help make it different, too.) For me, Golden is the INAN but for a warm toned person. It’s a lovely everyday palette. It’s EXACTLY what I wanted. I would never call Gold the INAN for people who like warm tones. My only quibble with Golden, I wish we had Sparks instead of Aura in Golden because I love Sparks…but I have Gold so I still have my beloved Sparks. I really, really enjoyed your very detailed breakdown of everything including spreadsheets!! 🤗 This is my kind of video! Love it!
Amazing deep dive❤ I am a collector and have them all. I bought this and definitely have also noticed some discrepancies in packaging vs website vs feel of shadow as well either a lot of her palettes. I do not have a shade spreadsheet like you!! That was amazing to look at! I didn’t purchase the highlighter trio I feel like I can’t use the deepest 2 shades so I won’t but it is beautiful! I love the new single HyGen highlights
Wow, that is shocking about that Two Faced palette growing mold. I looked up the ingredients and it does seem like many of the shades are using cocoa powder, which would be my guess in terms of what the mold is being attracted to. Maybe that is not such a good idea to include that! Also, this may not matter for what you are looking at here, but it is my understanding that if ingredients constitute less than 1% of the total concentration of the formula, they can be listed in any order.

Thank you so much! I've worn Golden a few times recently, and I've also found it very approachable and wearable.
I find a lot of palettes may look the same . But perform very differently . So I do not mind purchasing what may see the same.
I have neither gold palette. So excited to purchase.
I am fair warm olive and feel exactly the same as you about everything 😳
Wow this is the best comparison video I have ever seen! Very good catches! Thank you 😊
Thank you so much!

Thank you! I like to get into the weeds a bit sometimes. 😂
I love the golden palette way more than ever imagined.

Yes, I think you're right. I try to focus on the first few ingredients listed to distinguish formulas.
