No one talks about the parallel here. Barry jumped over Meena's lightning the same way Zoom jumped over his so many years ago. I mean, sure Barry didn't grab it and throw it back, but it was a really cool nod to show how much faster Barry has gotten over the years.
And yet people still prefer this version of the flash more than the Snyder cut flash, I personally love the way the flash was written in the Snyder cut
What they prefer is the actor for the flash in the series and his mannerisms compared to that vampire looking dude with the walnut jaws and the weird running style
And the way the background move when he is running is strange if he is fast doesn't he have to pass a building or object so quick that we don't see him make another step on it vanishes from his site.
The first two seasons were golden then they began this whole naive nonsense where they just fix everything with the power of friendship and love. Some lazy writing there...

And I'm not usually one to care for or even notice the quality of the CGI, but even I can tell it actually has gotten worse/cheaper, compared to early seasons. So...any of those weird Well-es still left? Almost none of whom was actually even remotely funny. Seriously I only vague remember one line from one of them that was actually clever and made me laugh, the rest of the attempted humor was just, like, 4th-grader level or something.

It doesn't really matter, though. It only matters to those who like to emphasize ethnicity, gender or orientation and sensationalize it, to make it a big deal. At least they didn't cheaply ethnicity-swap an already well-established character, like they do with every second character these days, just so they can pretend it's diversity, while the people hopped up on it believe it is. And I am actually saying they aren't doing enough for real diversity. The writers and the people who cheer them on wholeheartedly believe they do. But, they actually don't. Most of the time they opt for cheap tokenization, instead of doing what they did with this character. Probably because there was nothing to tokenize, in her case, obviously, so they could just bring her to the screen as is she is. But, they rarely do that. Oh, but look at me! Trying so hard and writing so much just to explain my oh so obvious "racism".

And the white ones always get called racist or bigots, because their point of view is woefully misunderstood. And those who call them such labels don't even realize, much less bother to understand, that there are plenty of non-white fans who are also tired of this crap. But, like, I said, in the case of this particular character there was a pleasantly surprising lack of tokenization and the writers, casting...etc. actually did it right.
