To get the flaming sword, you need the Living Force skill at the end of the shinobi arts tree. Once you have that, just press attack right after you use any of the flame prosthetics. The long fire attack can only be done with Onikaga flame vent and lazulite flame. After you use any of the flame attacks, release the trigger and then hold it down.
