Whether it was intentional or an actual fail with the dialogue, it was cool to see, and the cast members handled it awesomely!
He pressed the wrong button on the blaster .. Luckily the performers at Disney World/Land are so talented that they can quickly recover from such fumbles.. They really amaze me.. Soo talented and honestly they are the true heroes of Disney theme parks!

Not enough props get given to these performers! They have to be on the spot like this all day! All these goofy little interactions make everyone’s days when they see it. I’m sure they are grossly underpaid for all the work they do.
Gotta love the chaperone’s reaction at 0:20. Went from checking her watch to “oooooooooo!” REAL quick! You see she was getting bored until this happened!
It’s all in the gestures. Holding your hand out trigger “let me see your identification” waving one way triggers “hello” waving the opposite direction triggers “goodbye” and so on. It’s probably a lot to remember. These actors are true performers
These kinds of things wouldn’t happen if they just had the suit actors speak through a voice filter. It would also be more realistic that way, as the Troopers wouldn’t all have the same generic voice. I know they can’t do that for everyone (Kyle Ren and Boba Fett, for example) but it would be theoretically fine for the Stormtroopers.
It feels like not enough people here appreciate the look of absolute shock radiating from the cast member's face at 0:20 She knew that stormtrooper had just signed up for a free funeral courtesy of Kylo Ren lol 😂

Though I dislike Disney as a company, and think the parks are SEVERELY overpriced. I respect the actors a ton. These people can just improvise on the spot like it’s nothing. They are extremely talented
absolutely, there’s a lot wrong with the company but nobody can deny everyone who works at the park gives 100% and does a beautiful job making these experiences for everyone

I’d imagine the Force wipe bit is a standard recovery from a misplaced line so it’s not improvised but if I saw that happening I would be blown away because that moment and the seemingly improvised resolution is fantastic.
@@Hivedragon Well, they probably don't want to put even more pressure on the actors within the suits. Much easier to place them into a suit with pre-recorded messages so they always know how to respond to a situation, rather than forcing them to ad-lib every conversation with a guest or Kylo.

the way the stormtroopers speak is by making hand signs to play voice lines and they swap between them by turning the wrist he probably forgot to turn his wrist to say the voice line he wanted but man does this turn out better than any voice line
Considering that both Kylo and the cast member were taken aback at 0:20 and exchanged glances at 0:26, it’s now my head cannon that they somehow became good friends while he was stationed there
You all know they have these audio connectors in their wrists on their blasters right? So depending on which way they turn them and their arms. Thats what comes out of the speaker in the helmet. They aren’t actually talking and it’s positive/negative remarks depending on how they move. Watch and you’ll see. They don’t let them really talk because they’re afraid some will go off script. But yeah it’s not them talking, it’s recordings.

@Skywalker Pan That's both cool & lame. Means they're pretty limited on how creative they can be, and makes the experience rather repetitive for everyone. Cool because of how convincing it is though.
I remember when one interacted with me and said I was suspicious. My response was unblinkingly staring straight at him for like 30 seconds, he stared back like “😶” and I could tell that he broke character for just a split second, probably deciding what to say. Then he just said ‘Calm down, citizen’ Then I just continued staring at him, saying nothing. Then he completely changed the subject and asked about my Lilo and Stitch shirt, saying that Stitch was untamable and complimenting me on my talent. Then he walked away🤣 I’m the master at staring at people until I make them uncomfortable, it even works on Stormtroopers👀
Haha, that’s awesome! I recently saw someone taunting a stormtrooper and they told him that they bet he’s smiling under his mask. The trooper just stood there staring at him and said nothing for a few moments completely dumbfounded, until he told the guy to not be so curious and walked away really fast. It was so funny!

They have chips in the gloves and they use hand movements to change the moods but the voices are chosen by a hand gesture.

The troopers themselves are controlling on what responses they say. It's usually by arm movement that triggers it.
The troopers have a chip in their gloves and on their gun that activate the voices!

I think the trooper did not get fired, they just had a 'work accident' happen. They walked into Kylo's lightsaber ten times.
