Truly don't understand the writers, you have these characters with amazing chemistry for 4-5 seasons. Finally get them together, then find stupid ways to cause drama to break them apart. Why are tv show writers so afraid of just keeping characters together.
Exactly! They think people get bored watching a happy relationship... we waited for them to get together for 4 seasons, so guess what? We’re not bored, we just want to see them together 🤬 I kinda understand their first breakup, but the whole April thing and Lorelai+Chris getting married was just TOO MUCH
@@willowarmstrong5136 Don't know where you got that from. It's like you never saw the ending of season 6, or the sequel, which is her vengeful rewrite of season 7, which she said she's never seen. She even made the whole series just made up stories in Rory's book. You can fool some people all the time.
Agreed. Forget about Rory, for the me the best thing about Jess was his interaction and hilarious scenes with Luke. Many of the best scenes involved Luke, his scenes with Lorelai, Jess, Kirk and Taylor.
I dont know why people don't like the way they had them as a couple, yes it was different and sometimes I wonder what they were thinking but they are still adorable in my opinion.
@@theatregirl0368 well she did invite him to her house when he showed up in Stars Hallow so i think she did do something for Jess and she did let him clean the cutters but okay. Good bye
@@lauriecarson6483 First off, I am acknowledging that Jess and Lorelai didn’t get off to a great start. You are just flat out saying that Jess did wrong and Lorelai was in the right. Yes, Lorelai invited him to her house as we all know that didn’t go well (I am also acknowledging that Jess wasn’t the greatest during that scene) but for the cleaning the gutters, that went well to an extent. They actually had a cordial conversation and got along very well then Rory came into the house after Dean yelled at her about the bracelet. But Lorelai never actually did anything nice for Jess. She immediately assumed the worst of him (like everyone else) and immediately, without even knowing him, tried to persuade Luke to not let him stay in Stars Hollow. Lorelai could have tried harder and so could Jess. They both had their good and not so good moments so saying one is in the right and the other is a screwup is just plain rude.

I have no idea! Chandler and Monica from Friends are the only couple I can think of who represented a beautiful drama-free relationship

ASP didn’t write the last series, i think if she did, they would’ve married and lorelai might have had kids
