I realize with your video that alto is a good instrument for this because you are in C (lucky guy!). On my C melody it is hard but it gives a beautifull objective. Thank for sharing ❤

    Thank you so much for this great video about this grate song, it is very easy to follow and to learn with your explanatios.
    I always lern the songs following the music sheet, it is the first time that I have learnt a song only with the notes indication (A,Bb, etc).
    Is easier to internalise the melody, as if you transcribe the song from the original.
    I encourage you to do more of this video for other songs.
    A possible proposal would be "Don't mess with Mr. T" from Stanley Turrentine.

      @lyndenblades  9 месяцев назад

      Hi Pete, thank you for your message. At the moment I'm teaching full time from home and I'm virtually at full capacity so the videos I'm making get done in the gaps between clients or in the evening or very early morning. Then the editing takes a massive amount of time and at the moment I have at least three videos that I'd like to make next and then about another 10 possible videos. Thank you so much for offering to pay for a tutorial but perhaps a zoom meeting might be quicker, cheaper for you and that's something we can arrange immediately. We can focus on this one tune for you. What do you think?

    Hello again Lynden! I wrote several weeks ago. I want to comment later on your fabulous Take 5 tutorial but thanks to you I purchased numerous Session Band Jazz and Quartet apps for my ipad! It seems intuitive but for the life of me, I cannot find a voice over tutorial going over the basics and or advanced options. Do you have any ideas? Thanks a lot from Georgia!

      @lyndenblades  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hello from the UK and thank you for your feedback. I get a lot of people asking about how to use these apps, I’m considering making a tutorial just focusing on that alone 👍👍🤝🤝🎷🎷

      @@lyndenblades I was going to nag you but I am giving you a break! LOL. Thing is the app has been around for at least 10 years. There are several real clunky, junky tutorials on youtube but I am surprised they missed the boat on it. Do they assume I have ESP to figure out the quirks? If you COULD do several videos on it SLOWLY explaining it all, that would be great. I will noodle around a bit on them but would appreciate guidance from someone "that has been there". Still trying to wake up, just 730 am on the east coast!!
