Love all the recommendations and I think it is so cool that you saw the hot dog stand it is great to know that in case one is just craving a classic hot dog experience. Keep up the amazing work and the shirt looks really cute one you.
I've been to empanada momma on a late night. They play dance soca and reggae music while you eat . So it's like a Fete while waiting for your food. I was dancing in the line. The atmosphere is beautifull
If you're craving a hot dog Field Roast makes "frankfurters" not to be confused with their various sausages. You can clip between the links and freeze them for later. They are really good. I toast a hot dog bun, steam or boil the "frankfurter", and then cover with my homemade sauerkraut. Yumm! Tofu pups and such are sad in comparison. Field Roast nailed it.
I was planning to become vegetarian or even vegan, so I was hoping that you could do a video that could’ve about tips for beginners. Also I love you, you’re so adorable ❤️❤️❤️
Mallak Tartir I’m vegan, I would say to start by going off meat and dairy, and everything you eat you have to check the ingredients before eating, normal things that are vegan: All Oreo flavors French fries Bagels (check ingredients) Ice creams in Whole Foods (non dairy aisle) Etc, just read Ingresof things
You will see me in your comment section very often lately. I am celebrating my birthday ALL year because I am the big 55. So, eating out is a part of that! I have visited JA JA JA, Beyond Sushi, and Spring Cafe. I commented on those establishments in your other videos. I went to Joes Rice roll yesterday. I ordered the FISH BALLS and the veggie Rice Roll. They were both DELICIOUS and very fresh. The sauces were EXCELLENT! I even learned how to eat with the chopsticks! A little wine helped me with that! I am not FULLY vegan. I am more of a Pescetarian who eats chicken OCCASIONALLY and no red meat. Thank you for sharing your FANTASTIC FOOD FINDS MY FELLOW LIBRA! OCTOBER 4th was mine! I've told you that previously! Libras are FOOD ADDICTS! 😁😁😁😁😁
Hi! Someone recommended your channel to me. I'm so glad that they did! I really like your vibe! I loved this series! I can't wait to watch more of your videos! :)
I’m such a fan of these videos you have no idea!!! I live in east village and my 2 jobs are in soho and lower east side so the spots you’ve found are absolutely perfect for me as a broke, working student😂 no joke I’ve been to every restaurant in these videos (other than the second dumpling place lol). thank youuu for the wonderful videos and fantastic food suggestions and I hope you can keep killing it with this series!!!
Absolutely love your channel I'm in NY for a week next month and now I have a list of places to eat for literally every meal. 😂😂I'm paying so much for my hotel I need cheap good eats lol
I was visiting NYC with my vegan friend and he was definitely not well fed EEK should've started watching your videos beforehand :) Omg when you said Empanada Mama though
People may not know exactly that there’s a difference between vegan and vegetarian I remember this worker at shake shack has it all and it’s vegetarian because it doesn’t have any meat but the item was loaded with cheese.
Have you ever done a basic middle-Eastern rice recipe? Sth very very basic you might find in Palestine, Syria or Lebanon? I need one to prep before work.
Yes I agree, Coco Lins is amazing! Rebecca, you can take the subway to the Fresh Pond Road stop. Parking is pretty much a nightmare over there unless you go mid-day on a weekday. You must try it though! Green Zenphony on Queens Blvd by 63rd Drive is a fully vegan restaurant as well.
You're supposed to tip anyone in hospitality 10-20% in North America, they aren't paid a lot and do work like: cooking your food, serving you, cleaning, etc. The tips are divided between everyone, including cooks. Why would you tip a server but not a cashier? :)
Virginie Desgreniers idk sis just pointed something out. Most ppl do not tip anyone but waiters/waitresses. I thought it was a NYC thing from her videos.
Don't you worry that they fry all in the same fryer and oils from the meat ones gets in there? Not to bum you out but I find hard to trust places that are not completely vegan... It does take the fun out of eating out so kudos to you both
Hey, it usually doesn’t bother me that they fry in the same oil. I went vegan to stop harming animals and whether my food gets fried in a shared fryer or not, no animals are harmed. :)
Why do vegans want their food to taste like filet this or shaped like lobster that instead of just embracing the shape and source of their preferred foods? True question here, don't hate me because I wonder.
Pleaseee do a taste test of some weird things from that maywa (idk spelling 😂) place!! :)
Planning on it!
@@bodegacatx Yesss please! I wanna order from them online and I'm terrified of splurging on mystery vegan meat.

The deli by my job makes rice balls. I survived on those when I did the midnight shift. It’s delicious if you don’t want heavy food.
I did not know there were vegan hot dog carts! I’ll have to try that out! I’m shook!
These rice wraps are made from rice flour.
While rice PAPER wraps are made from rice flour too but they're for making vietnamese salad rolls.
Absolutely love your channel I'm in NY for a week next month and now I have a list of places to eat for literally every meal. 😂😂I'm paying so much for my hotel I need cheap good eats lol
Have fun!
I was visiting NYC with my vegan friend and he was definitely not well fed EEK should've started watching your videos beforehand :) Omg when you said Empanada Mama though
Drop that hair tutorial girl! 😍
I’m not great at tutorials, sorry!
Rice rolls are the best! I know some Americans are put off by the texture, which is weird because they eat things like eggplant which is slimy.
I loved the texture!
Another good rice roll place in china town is yi ji shi mo noodle corp its also cheeper
Thanks for the tip!
Those rice rolls look AMAZINGGGG😩😍
They were amazing
SO EXCITED FOR NYC TOMORROW!!

No, but I’m sure they have those online! I can’t make rice as good as my grandma 😂
I'm pretty sure that green sauce at Empanada Mama has mayo in it. Unless they have a vegan version.
Well then, that is good to know! Will check back with them again to know for sure!
Your shirt is freaking AMAZING 😍 now I want those omusubis!
Thank you!
not $5, but Coco Lins in Queens is lowkey one of the most banger vegan spots in all of NYC
Yes I love Coco Lin. I grew up in Middle Village!
I’ll check it out. Thank you!

Maybe! But I don’t have the money for travel at the moment.
Have you eaten at Seasoned Vegan in Harlem? Shrimp po boy only $10, if you and Roberto split, that's $5!

You should do a video taste testing those vegan meats :) love your videos! ❤️
I plan on it!

I live for these videos. And vegan food. $5 bucks vegan food.
Can you please write the name of the store you did the pit stop at that had the vegan meats?
Maywah
Vegan Bodegacat I totally watch like 20 videos after and saw your review for the meats lol , thanks for responding
This was fun! Thanks for sharing!
Viagra Empanada? Yeah that’s the one my grandfather would get.
😂😂
Can I ask why you tip your cashiers? Not a lot of people do that...

Can we get the spelling for the name of that store with all the imitation meat please
Maywah!
Am I the only one who things that you look like Millie brown? Like you can’t tell me I’m wrong I can’t unsee it now

Strickly Dumpling is in complete agreement 06/16/19

Don't you worry that they fry all in the same fryer and oils from the meat ones gets in there? Not to bum you out but I find hard to trust places that are not completely vegan... It does take the fun out of eating out so kudos to you both
Hey, it usually doesn’t bother me that they fry in the same oil. I went vegan to stop harming animals and whether my food gets fried in a shared fryer or not, no animals are harmed. :)
Does anyone know the name of the store she was at with all the fake meats and the address???
Maywah!
You know those hotdogs are fresh because he was not even open when you came up to him
What happened to your friend from the first two videos
I ate them! Jk. They still exist.
Yessss empanada mama
Amanda was so sweet
She really is!
Those empanadas tho😩😍
I do not know in what world these food account for "meals" they are clearly snacks...
People need different amounts of food! For me, the rice roll especially is a meal.
You give me Natalie Portman vibes!
ONIGIRIIIIIII
12:10 lol
14:15 yeah that is a little high price for me too.
My verdict is the dirty water soy dog! lol idk why but that looked the best! Keep it up!

Thank you! 🤗🤗❤️
you look cute
Thanks!
Why do vegans want their food to taste like filet this or shaped like lobster that instead of just embracing the shape and source of their preferred foods? True question here, don't hate me because I wonder.
Honestly because it’s fun. And convenient to be able to eat the foods we grew up eating. Not necessary though.
I think it just helps to explain what concept, flavours etc they're going for. :)
