Israel came 5th from 'Jury' votes combined with public votes but they had the second highest number of public votes. And they had the highest number (from 15 countries) of the top point 12 for the public vote. Speaks volumes. The public chose Israel over all the countries that spoke out against them.

She was so brave and amazing. And so soft spoken, though she must have been hurting from all the hate. She had our votes. The televoters made it very clear where they stood on this. She is only 20 years old and can do nothing about the situation in her country. Where has common decency gone? A very good read on this subject is a book called “Eurabia, land od dhimmitude” very enlightening.

Many used the opportunity to gather intelligence for hamas. And regardless, israelis have a right to live and party. It was far enough from gaza so that nobody would hear the music. Hamas ran into the festival by surprise.

They made the right move by banning him. He wanted to make some sort of protest remark on stage but instead decided to try to intimidate a contestant with his "why not" question. He failed miserably at that so probably took his temper out on someone else. Hence his removal. He definitely comes across as extremely hot-headed, self entitled aggressive twerp, and unable to control his warped emotions.
Fair play to this woman...most voted for political reasons and even though she didnt win and peope think she should have she's the one being dignified and greatful for the opportunity.

To everybody asking: it’s not about her personally. It’s about the fact that she’s the representative for Israel who shouldn’t have been allowed to participate in the first place because of the genocide they’re committing in Gaza.
Meanwhile Russia is free to participate even though they’re bombing Ukraine. Additionally, they pretty much found an excuse to kick Joost out over something incredibly small because he stood a great chance of winning and for some reason everybody wanted Israel to win (luckily they didn’t).
This year’s Eurovision was full of politics. It always is, but this was extreme.
