I have a manual 2014 with the Track Pack option in the same color. My exhaust is from MBRP, the 3" Cat Back Race Series. Sounds awesome.

Straight piping a 5.0 is like mixing a turd with designer cologne and expecting it to smell good.. Roush Axleback exhaust on my 2011 5.0, with a resonator delete and shorty headers. Not overkill at all this way, and it sounds incredible! Gets tons of compliments
I agree, I’d never straight pipe the 5.0 as it’s far too raspy for my liking. I recently picked up a set of roushs that I may give a shot.

I wouldn’t drive this one in the snow. I have 5 other vehicles, one of which is my true daily that I drive in the winter.

Love this freaking car! Had a '11 with the roush exhausts and got complimented all the time for the monster sound. Idk. I'm a sucker for a loud muscular sounding muscle car
Thank you! They’re excellent cars. The coyote is a bit tough to find the “sweet spot” for the sound. I think the current setup is a perfect combination of loud but not super raspy.

Straight piped coyotes sound like explosive diarrhea. Can’t stand it. Don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer loud over stock, but it’s also all about the tone. This setup has an extremely deep tone, to where you feel it in your chest on revs and downshifts. I think with a tad more volume but maintaining the same tone it will be perfect.
Funny you mention Vossens as a set popped up locally a few days ago. Going to keep an eye on them to see if they’ll go for a good price.
Hey man! Ironically enough, I actually live in the same general region you do. I'm from the Belvidere/Rockford area, but I moved to the northern burbs of Chicago a couple years ago. I've been looking at Mustang GTs for years, my favorite years being the 2013-2014 model years, especially the '14 since it's the last year of the retro-modern styling. Anyway, I've got a question for ya; since you're already used to the harsh Midwestern winters of Illinois, and especially Chicagoland, is it actually possible to daily drive a 2014 Ford Mustang GT (preferably manual, but will go to automatic if I have to depending on the current market) during the snowy winters? Of course I know it's possible, but is it actually practical enough to use it as a daily during the winter within reason? I know you mentioned in the vid that you have a Chevy Silverado as well, which I assume you drive during the really intense days of snow. I currently drive an F-150 so I see where you're coming from. Point being, is it worth it? Because if I did end up going with the good ol' Stang, it would be my only car. I have also considered the newer 2015 & up years (S550) of the Mustang because of the independent rear-wheel suspension that replaced the horrendous leaf-spring, fixed suspension of the S197 style, but I just love the retro styling so much. I know the answer may seem obvious, but I would greatly appreciate your opinion! Great vid btw! 🐎
Can you daily drive it in winter? Yes. Is it ideal? No. I drive my 4.0 in the winter and it does ok. If there’s more than an inch or two of snow, it’s far from ideal. I also have a 2017 Silverado that I drive when the weather gets real nasty. If you had some winter tires and weight in the back, you could make it work. But I’d say buy a super cheap beater for the winter and keep the mustang safe.
One id do is put one of those shorty antennas on it. That’s what I did to my 13 grabber blue GT. It was like 20 bucks from American Muscle

Yes, it has sport mode with select shift gear shifter.
Took a 2014 GT Premium for a test drive today and I loved the power but I noticed some kind of whine noise around 35 mph in 3rd gear which disappeared at 40+ mph. Anyone know what that could be?
There was nobody at the dealership since it was Labor Day and the sales girl was an old lady, lol. She has no idea about anything. Don't want to buy a car that may need some sort of major work soon. Any ideas would be helpful.

I had a 2013 GT 6 speed mustang GT in tuxedo black with 3.73 rear end. I brought it brand new. It was a hell of a lot of fun to drive. It was very quick and if I floored the gas pedal from a dig and pop the clutch the car would wheel hop for about 10 yards. But aside from the live rear axle I loved the car. I now have a 2018 GT. 5.0 manual transmission with3.55:rear end. It has better handling with the IRS but the 2013 GT was quicker. I Wish I had kept the 2013 along with the 2018. My next car will be a GT500.

2012 Mustang GT with auto trans, just D for Drive 145,000 on auto. Get a tune, won't short shift....and keeps it in power band on spirited driving....A romp from a stop, will carry each gear to redline.😮...two black marks....look into getting a Watts Link from White Line.....0 wheel hop for 10 years now
Nice! We have a 2014 GT convertible. It's currently in the paint shop being painted Fighter Jet Gray. I didn't like black because of the maintenance. I installed Roush axle backs, lowered it and have a new set of black wheels and tires waiting at the house. I also installed 2017 Raxiom rear taillights. I got tired of the stock lights.

I love my 2014 GT premium, I've got the same deep impact blue. Named mine "The Abyss" and have it on 19" stock wheels from the 2014 Boss 302 and plan on giving it the Roush treatment.

If you can find one with with 50k 1 owner 25k , 🤔 I would even buy it at 30k.... if it had the Brembo Package...Even at 70,000 to 100,000 , probably 16k to 18k....engines are like the LS....if you get a Manuel transmission. MT-82 just spend 3,500 and drop a new Tremec 6 speed in it....American Muscle, CJ Pony Parts, Late Model Mustang Restorations or Cortex...

It’s just the factory head unit that comes with the electronics package + navigation

Unless you drive one, you wouldn't know. Stock good, auto with a tune, bangs it hard from stop, no paddles, just D for drive. Spirited driving in the canyons is all foot and peddle control to stay in a gear ⚙️ and knowing your cars shift points....otherwise spend 4k and drop a 6 Speed Tremec Manuel Transmission from the get go
