I kind of dislike this game's story. Superchargers was my favorite storyline of the franchise, and that showed us how good Glumshanks really was. He was willing to sacrifice himself to save them from the Sky Eater as well as helped them get the Dark Rift Engine and use it, and how do they repay him in the end? Stuff him in the jar alongside Kaos in this, when he barely does anything to actually help Kaos's plans. Personally, I feel like they should've ended with Superchargers. It had a more satisfying ending.
I believe that skylanders imaginators was actually an alternate world from the original games Since we see skylanders besides the ones the player spawns, which we never ever see in the original games and they are also skylanders we specifically see in skylanders academy (the Netflix show) which has been implying that it was a seperate universe, with the changes to the fist of arkus and the fact that Kaos is still attempting to plunge the world into darkness despite being betrayed in superchargers. In skylanders academy we also see the imagination crystals we used in imaginators

he's ok, he's right as rain as soon as the stage begins and just handwaves it off , talking about how skylanders are always ok after they fall ( referencing how in game you always just warp back to the platform you fell off of)
Things they should’ve done to make this game better Number one where jet vac is worried about his lunch should’ve been his egg that would’ve been better and less too overly dramatic. Number two the Skylanders with the cake should’ve used victory cake instead of birthday cake that makes a lot more sense. Number three have an official doomlander Sentinel class boss battle before SUPER KAOS.
