It was because the Iron Fist no longer saw Kaos as a suitable leader/wearer of the Fist. It has been stated that a few other Arkeyians felt that Kaos was not a suitable leader.

Years went by and master eon had assigned the portal master to send certain sky Landers to certain special sections during the time. The giants after they defeated the Arkyen Empire once more and stopped chaos from getting the iron fist of arcus were charged with watching the core of light.
Spyro and his team were charged to be peacekeepers Throughout sky lands.
The swap force maintained their guard at the volcano where the elemental gods were charging their powers. As well as guarding chaos mother in the magic mirror that she trapped herself in.
The trap team began to rebuild the prison, that would Hold the doom raiders and they also began their quest of training new trap apprentices.
The superchargers Journeyed the far out reaches of sky lands where they were never heard from again. In other words they're called the unknown regions.
During the training montage Stealth elf and spyro ran into a few problems. Some 10 years later Of course chaos had decided he wanted to go back to his evil ways,
Before master eno died he was part of the portal master council, They created what we call Senseis in the Sky Landers Imaginators game. The senseis were the sacred guardians that left to the far outer reaches of their world to journey to other worlds. The portal masters were scientists And wanted to discover what was far and beyond however the 3 masters Were called back when they sense the growing threat of the darkness during when chaos was the emperor when they were in the far outer reaches of space. And other dimensions When they returned. they were in fact the trainers of spyro and his team. Another reason why stealth elf called them masters and why she said "master you've returned"

It was because the Iron Fist no longer saw Kaos as a suitable leader/wearer of the Fist. It has been stated that a few other Arkeyians felt that Kaos was not a suitable leader.
