I did it like you did using Alcohol and I use a good bit of Alcohol and worked it around really good. Then I gave it about a day for it to dry out just to be on the safe side. This solved it. Thank you for your video. 😁👋
I might give it a try but it look too risky for this. Last year left one was my problem but now the right is my Biggest problem. I probably need my mum to help me with this but we don’t have alcohol in our house. I give you a update if it worked or not.
So little thing i wanna mention...a few little things actually 1 i have rage and stress issues so you could guess i hit my controller here and there but the function almost seems the same nothing feels too broken... except for the drift 2 i completely play without the stick top bc idk why but it cause worse drift than normal...and some are broken (i got 2 headsets bc one broke and my parents don't think the dev of the quest 2 will replace it for free) 3 i have no compressed air at all and i don't think there's any kind of alcohol with a eye dropper syringe to get far that deep will alcohol pads work instead?
You could guess for 1 I wanna know if the rage could break something else first before breaking the joystick And 2 is there anything I should worry about (other than need to probably clean more) with have the joystick off
A dollar store may have something you can put isopropyl in to make it easier to squirt in there. Really though you could let droplets run down into it from your finger and it should work. Canned air would suffice to blast out the rubbing alcohol and the debris trapped in there. If nothing helps with the drift then I would assume the stick has more serious issues and needs replacing.
@@imnotslowish im not a fan of canned air because it sprays moisture too. An air compressor is what I prefer. It helps blow out all of the debris that’s inside. If you don’t use any air then I would try using contact cleaner spray instead of rubbing alcohol.

Onward is a much more superior game
Nice repair I'd like to little touch at the end with the finges 😅😂
Hehehe
Nicely done sir!
TYSM, I just blows some wind from my lips and a random brush which I found and it's actually works!
What would i do if it failed?
The spring randomly disappeared yesterday but the controller still works is that good?
@@WarmNuggsRgood I don’t believe anything missing would be good but hey, it still works!
I just got a straw and blew into the stick...pause...and it helped

do i have to you the can of air?

i did it but i still have the drift
Sometimes it's worth another go or 2 but if all that fails then the stick will have to be replaced.
@@RetroFix meaning what?
@@Gavin53zane "another go or 2" would mean clean it out again 1 or 2 more times. Sometimes they need more than one cleaning.
Can you help me on you help me on oxygen.
